Great food and the service is Top Notch. It’s one of our favorite restaurants.
Came had outstanding service at the bar! Our bartender was creative and interesting to talk to. He made a perfect martini 🍸 and made a delicious drink called Over the Rainbow! He was very nice to talk to really knowledgeable
The mussels were excellent! Can’t wait to come back!
The menu isn't very versatile. Not many offerings and the green salad is a bore but overall great atmosphere, service and drinks!
Our third experience was another excellent experience in every way. We would recommend it snd bring friends. Everything ordered was remarkable. We shall return.
Need to increase brunch menu selections. Our waiter “Wes” made our dining experience lovely!
We had lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and were seated outside. The service was excellent - attentive but not obtrusive. The food and drinks were really good. Although it was busy, it was not too noisy - perhaps becasue we were seated outside. Would recommend.
The Draycott is such a lovely place for any meal of the day. Ask to be seated in Jason’s area. He’s awesome
Took a very long time to get our food and had hungry kids. I would recommend to adults but maybe not families.
They didn't have the ribeye I wanted.
I didn't like the flat iron steak.
Service was slow.
Management is always nice.
I did not enjoy the experience this time.
They charged extra for the fries that usually comes with the hamburger we ordered.
The menu selection was so limited. At 1:30 pm, most of the menu items were eggs or breakfast. Only 1 salad selection and the quality/freshness wasn’t great. To top it off, the waitress looked like she was having a bad day and was so rude. We won’t be going there again.
Amazing evening would totally go again. Very special
The portion size of the Greek salad - about 3 flimsy slices of tomato, 2 or 3 olives and a microdot of feta - I had and my wife’s crudo were minuscule. My fish and chips was ridiculously heavy on the potatoes and meager on the fish. Poor value for the money. The $40 corkage was also a bit much. 25 is routine, 30 is fine. 40 is a bit of a gouge. The quality of the food and preparation was OK but unremarkable. Nothing particularly flavorful. Not a top tier dining experience food-wise, for sure.
Best dinner experience we have had since the pandemic began! Beautiful setting, excellent service, outstanding meal and very accommodating management willing to seat an epidemiologist with high concerns about safe dining. Fantastic experience.
The lunch menu had such a poor selection & the food was not good at all. The salad which I opted to not have any tomato’s consisted of only lettuce. Other than Cesar salad which I don’t eat there was no good salad options.
Obviously that was an expensive salad considering it was only lettuce.. granted I asked for avocado which they gave me a few slices.
Also ordered fish. It was small & no flavor. Horrible!
I was so embarrassed to recommend this restaurant for lunch. I have been here for dinners & it was pretty good ... never great!
Such a disappointing experience!
Lovely as usual!
Love the area and the Draycott is very cute. The brown sugar pudding is so good!
Lovely waitress, but she only came to our table twice, and we had to rely on grabbing other waiters for things.
The Draycott is a very special restaurant. Superbly sourced produce, fish and meat delightfully prepared. The staff cares about guest enjoyment and are sensitive to feedback. They adjusted their corkage fee and it is appropriate, especially since they provide the correct wine glass for each wine. We are fortunate to have the Draycott in our neighborhood.
Excellent as usual but many more babies and young children at table.
The pea dip and Eton mess were fantastic! Very creative and delicious!
Great food and wonderful patio. Friendly and efficient staff.
Sitting out on the lawn is so nice and the service was outstanding!
Wonderful spot with delicious food! Always great, the staff, the spot, top notch ✨
Very nice experience from food to service to ambience . The menu should however be expanded to include more choices to encourage satisfied diners to return.
Waitress Melissa was terrific
We had a very enjoyable dinner, but the best part took place after we left. They looked up our OpenTable reservation and phoned me at home with the news that they had found a hearing aid under the table. Above and beyond the call of duty, and greatly appreciated.
The food and service were great. The outdoor area is noisy with kids playing on the grass till after dark. But it was a nice evening.
No salmon? Then, on our second choice, Chef refused to sub pickled veg on sea bass plate for another veg option clearly available on other dishes. So, rather than just walk out, we went with third option. We should have just got up and left.
We like Bot very much, and the staff are friendly, apparently the chef just has delusions of grandeur— when Massimo at Osteria Francescana accepts our substitution request, it would seem an overpriced Pali pub should, too.
Never going back. Unfortunate.
We dined with an early dinner midweek. Sat outside on the terrace, which was delightful. Waiter was friendly , attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Fish was fresh and the condiments were perfectly paired. Music in the background, but not offensively loud. Tables spaced appropriately for dining. The only drawback was the Ted Lasso set up and all the kids playing soccer, which added to the noise level. This was out the restaurant's control; only be aware.
I would definitely go back again.
From our waiter, to the food, to the whole experience. A+
I went there with my parents because they adore the Moules Frites. My sea bass was overcooked and dry. The dish was so tiny that even though I had also shared a Caesar salad (desperately short on anchovies and avocado), I was still hungry after the meal. The good thing is that I'm on a diet. Also, the glass of wine was très petite. My serving was so small that I didn't even have time for a second glass. This restaurant is overpriced and ungenerous. It's obviously trying to save money. The bourgeoisie in the Pacific Palisades are probably too rich to notice.
Then there was the service. Everyone was very kind, youngish and professional. But the British manager was obviously stressing them out and they were so overly attentive that we felt spied on. We could definitely sense their stress. The manager then came over to brag about the seafood and interrogate me about the waitress..as if we were there to help her decide whether to fire her or not. Not my job.I don't want to feel the pain of the employees in an establishment where I should be relaxed and take pleasure in knowing that we are financially contributed to a place where positive employee practices are in place.
Only drawbacks are $50 corkage charge and very slow food preparation (appetizers and main courses served almost concurrent following very long wait after ordering ). Corkage charge is offensive and inappropriate for a wonderful neighborhood restaurant.
My husband loves French onion soup. He had previously had it at The Draycott and loved it. This time he ordered it again, and when it came, it appeared the chef(?) had plopped some slices of cheese on top, shoved it under the broiler for a short time, and then it was served. The cheese was not melted, almost required a knife and fork to deal with it and push it out of the way. Not a way to serve something they charge so much for. We would recommend the restaurant, but would warn them to speak up and send something back if it's not done right, for what they charge. (we did not.) The fish dishes were very good.
We had two glasses of wine and two Caesar salads, the latter of which tasted like 3-day old lettuce from the back of the fridge, with Kraft bottled dressing. The bill came to $85 including tax and tip. Pathetic. I understand this is a difficult time for restaurants, but this place should either hire a real chef or close its doors.
Fantastic lunch. Excellent service. Divine burgers and fish and chips. A wonderful patio. Highly recommend.
Ambiance is nice. Steak was way too salty. Salmon was over cooked.
Overpriced. Nice location but food and overall experience is underwhelming.
nice place but the food is nothing to write about...
