tarragon mayo, drawn butter, shoestring fries
Fried Oyster Bruschetta
jalapeno fondue, heirloom tomato relish
Everything was great, but they didn’t do anything for my daughters birthday even after asking me and they didn’t even wish her a happy birthday. So after a two hundred dollar meal that was disappointing.
We’ve tried many times to eat at the Drake but it’s always packed. Recently drove past on a Saturday and noticed not too busy- probably due to CoronaVirus. So we stopped in. Had a lovely booth, friendly waiters and fantastic food and service. The bartender was a little stingy with an $11 glass of wine was my only complaint.
We enjoyed our dinner; we both ordered off the prix fix menu and it was a lot of food. The lemon cloud pie is amazing. Our waiter was excellent.
The oysters were fabulous! The lunch special was awesome!
Great place for brunch. Service was friendly and prompt.
Everyone one was outstanding particularly our server. The 4-H hush puppies as a starter was great and highly recommended, can’t get these anywhere else.
We will be back.
I feel quality has gone down a notch in this restaurant. Also do not like that they have turned away from offering many small appetizers towards more conventional big plates. It decreases the fun and increases the price
The Drake is a great place for dining out. Not too casual and not too fancy. Great ambience!
Great seafood and service. Second time visiting and the staff and food did not disappoint.
When we first arrived we requested to sit in a booth. As we were being seated, our server immediately came to the booth and made rude comments and treated us as though we were not sure we weren’t worth any of her time. Throughout the night she was rude, bossy, made numerous rude, unnecessary comments and even shushed us a few times. The food was phenomenal but after spending $300+ with our awful server, I don’t think we will be returning any time soon.
Great food and service!
My wife and I go to The Drake frequently, but this was my first time bringing my parents and our first time having brunch. They were huge fans and could not stop talking about how good the food was, and the brunch is OKC’s best kept secret (we were the only people there until 11AM or so). My dad was even loving the playlist they had going (lol)! Can’t wait to come back again.
The food was great. The lighting is to bright
Overly priced for the quality. Fair but not great. Tables too small, loud. Patrons seated too near each other.
The cheese grits were nothing like grits, more like gravy. Oysters ok but too pricey.
Disappointed, especially on a special occasion.
2/14/20 Valentine’s Day
It was great food and great service. Was not as expensive as I had expected, great value. Looking forward to our next meal served up by Michelle in the near future.
We have been meaning to try the Drake for years. Finally did, to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was an outstanding experience. Food, service, value were all excellent. We had an appetizer (the hushpuppies...you must do this), two entrees (lobster roll for me, catfish for her), and a nice bottle of wine for $150 with tip. Will definitely be back!
The service is always fantastic. The food is one of the best in the city. The Drake is one of our top 5 favorite restaurants in Oklahoma.
We have been to the Drake many times and it has been one of our favorite restaurants. But since June of 2019 something has changed.
Our salads were slathered with dressing. The main course came out before we even started eating the salads. Main courses were poor. We aren’t picky eaters but this was disappointing.
Drinks were excellent and the manager was very responsive to our complaints.
Overall I feel sad because we have always loved this place. The last two visits however, something has changed.
Great food. We have been there many times. This was the best meal we have had there. Service was great. Will go back soon.
We have been several times and all have been great.
Excellent food and service. One of my favorite places for lunch!
Overall very good. I ordered the scallops. There was something on them that was WAAAY too salty. Had to try to scrape it off. I should’ve sent it back but didn’t. Other than that, everything was fine. Everyone in our party had a perfect experience.
Loved this place so much we went for dinner and then brunch the next morning. Everything is delicious, aesthetically pleasing, and the servers are awesome. Even the water is super refreshing. Get the oysters and the risotto!
IT WAS NICE AND QUITE WHEN WE WERE THERE, FOOD WAS GOOD AND SERVICE WAS GOOD!
Great dinner surprised the menu didn’t include lobster (other than chilled)
We finally, after years of saying we should, tried The Drake. Ambiance and decor is not very warm or inviting, though booth seating was very comfortable; fairly noisy from bar area even though it wasn't very crowded. The menu offers a wide selection of seafood, with many raw bar choices. The prix fixe option provides a good value, even with our "upgrades" to sea bass and scallops. The lcam chowder was clam-filled without lots of potatoes -- a real plus. The calamari appetizer with a kung pao sauce didn't work for me. The sea bass was with roast veggies and a ginger sauce was very good; the scallops dish was mediocre (risotto was too salty). Nothing rose to the exceptional level that other Good Egg restaurants usually offer. The highlight of the menu was the chocolate hushpuppies for dessert -- original and sinfully chocolatey. Our server, Amber, was great -- friendly, proficient, knowledgeable.
Outstanding food, great service, will be going back and would recommend the place.
Great food, great service!
A great place to eat & worth the hour drive. I will eat here again.
Brunch was Yum. Great Mimosas. Oyster Benedict!!
Excellent meal. The oysters were amazing.
Loud, unfriendly, poor management, extremely slow, cold food. Not good.
The food, service, and drinks are fantastic! The oysters were fresh and perfect. I had the blackened redfish and can't wait to have it again. Our server was great and so were the bartenders. Try the Tequila Spritzer... You'll thank me!
Very helpful for a surprise birthday party. Probably my favorite place overall in OKC.
Great meal, cool location on revived 23rd, good company. Would recommend for anyone looking for unique OKC dining experience. Only comment was our table was near the front door and was cold any time the doors opened as people came in.
Good food. A little over priced. Had the salmon and the swordfish. Chocolate hush puppies for desert- delicious!
Amazing food, excellent service and bright, open atmosphere
Outstanding knowledge of the menu. Friendly service everywhere. Exquisite seafood in OKC. Can’t recommend enough or wait to come back!
This is my go to for my birthday every year or even if we're just passing through. Amazing food, although I do wish they would add a couple new items to the menu.
