   Afternoon Tea was a birthday gift. Beautifully presented. Service very good. Sandwiches and cakes delicious! Afterwards we sat on a bench outside overlooking the golf course as the sun was shining. A special afternoon! Thankyou!

   Starter egg and main creamy leeks were both overcooked Maybe sat too long under heat. Other than that it was enjoyable. Maybe an earlier lunch would have been better and not as charred.

    Not been here to eat in the Dovecote on a Sunday for a long time and it was spot on. It was my Husbands Birthday and he was even given a card. The food was quite simply exceptional and very good value for money. Over all an excellent time and we'll be back . Thank You 😊

    We go to this place several times a year, mostly for dinner or champagne breakfast. The service is usually excellent but today, for afternoon tea, it was far from that. The staff were inattentive and we had to repeatedly ask for things. They seemed extremely inexperienced and, for the first time, our visit was disappointing. Based on this I wouldn’t recommend for afternoon tea.

    Afternoon tea was expensive and not value for money for what you got. I don’t drink tea and wasn’t offered an alternative. So ordered another drink which was chargeable. Crisps salad garnish fruit could be added

    A fantastic Sunday lunch experience. 3 courses for £36.50,good choices in each course. Food well presented and cooked to.perfection. Staff attentive without being intrusive. Excellent extensive wine list. The roast beef and chocolate pudding were to die for! Highly recommend.

    This was the first time visiting the restaurant with my husband, The food was outstanding best food we have tasted for a long time , service was excellent the gentleman was really helpful when advising what is best to try on food recommendations.will definitely be re-visiting 10/10 .
