    Best filet mignon I've ever had; hands down. Added the blue cheese crust to it. Our waitress, Ivy, was great. We had the lamb lollichops and French onion soup as appetizers. Both were excellent but the French onion soup was the best I've had as well. We also got a ribeye with whipped Yukon gold potatoes and the creamed spinach which I highly recommend. The restaurant is expensive and for us, it's more of a special occasion place but we would definitely go back. The ambiance and decor were great. Loved having drinks in the upstairs lounge with a duo singing. The only thing I didn't like was that in a place that wasn't full we were sat all the way in the back next to the restroom door. I hate that. We had reservations and didn't just show up unannounced. There were numerous seats in the main dining room next to the window that would have given us first-timers a better view and experience. But, we came for the food and it was well worth it.

    We loved the relaxed feel of this place – from our first encounter with the hostess and then the bartender, it all felt comfortable and friendly. Relatively new to Pensacola and this was our second visit, will definitely return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly, our server was amazing!

    Our meal of filet mignon and grouper was fantastic. The Caprese salad was just right to start the dinner. Cece was a wonderful server and was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Great experience.

    Brianna was our server and she was excellent. The Delmonico Ribeye steaks were tough (ordered rare and rare plus). The scallops were delicious and so was the lobster bisque. The bill did not match the quality, but will give them another chance.

    Fillet was cooked perfectly, side dishes were very good, caprese salad was excellent. Good wine selection, outstanding service. Would definitely come back with someone so I could try the monster tomahawk!

    The dining room is very nice, elegant but understated. Menu choices were varied, not much seafood, the offerings are pretty slim. That is fine, there are a number of places that offer top notch seafood in the area. This is really a steak place. Interestingly the only prime offering was a bone in filet. For an appetizer I had the lobster bisque, very flavorful and rich, but totally devoid of any pieces of lobster. Would have been nice to have a bit of ground pepper on top but not offered. We elected the Chateaubriand tenderloin. The red wine demi glace was excellent and the meat very good and tender. Minor thing but I asked for medium rare plus, they missed the plus part. Outside pieces were ok for my wife, a bit too rare but fine, but way too rare for her, other two inside pieces were a bit rare for me as well. It was rare to medium rare. The brussel sprouts walnuts and bacon side was wonderful! Not an exhaustive wine selection but adequate. Very few by the glass selections and all pretty pricey. The only disappointment was the "peach cobbler" which was, well, kind of a strange dish. Not bad, but not really all that good either. We split it and left about half of it, which is UNHEARD OF with us...... Service was very good, Daniel did a fine job. just enough attention without being intrusive. Street parking and a pay lot just 2 doors down so parking is not a problem. Highly recommend.

    Our waitress had quite the attitude with us, it was noticeably different from the way she presented to other tables. She didn’t even take all of our drink orders before just walking off. She didn’t tell us about the specials or desserts. Or check on us after we received our food. The food itself was pretty good. I had a crab cake appetizer and it was quite wet on the inside. The crawfish risotto was tasty. The peach cobbler was absolutely amazing.

    My husband had the filet mignon and I had the salmon with the crawfish mashed potatoes. It was perfect, all of it. We had a drink upstairs before our reservation. I had the grande lady. It was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant ❀

    Two end pieces on my chateaubriand. Didn’t get the bernaise sauce delivered to my table that was supposed to come with it. Not my best fine dining experience. Skeptical on the fact that it was 16 ounces as well. Was just four slices. As I said before, two of my four slices were ends that were cooked. Think they got a little lazy in the kitchen. Server was good, and so was the crab cake. I will say that.

    Service was outstanding from all customer facing positions. The chef’s menu for the evening was quite varied with many tempting options. It was our 50th anniversary and a special menu was printed commemorating it. Nice touch.

    Our meal was delicious! Many compliments to the chef on well-prepared salmon and the crab cake appetizer was exceptional. As always the Parmesan truffle fries are my favorite!

    No bread service which is usually and customary at these types of steakhouses. Server was very overwhelmed brought steak knives to the table after we had our entrees for 10 min. Share plates for appetizers were brought after appetizers were finished. 2/5 steaks not prepared properly. Would not go back will look for other options for a fine dining establishment. The noise level is not conducive to having conversations.

    Delmonico was over cooked and flavorless. Dry aged New York Strip was good but had a tendon down the middle. Seating was questionable as one of us had a wall directly in front of us.

    Lackluster enthusiasm from the establishment regarding our 38 year wedding anniversary celebration. Our reserved table request was initially denied. The Delmonico ribeye was ill prepared, flavorless and was served with unacceptable large chunks of fat that had to be carved out at the table. The upper bar may possibly be considered a positive. However, the $9.00 baked potato was indicative of the over priced mediocrity of this establishment.

    Drinks were amazing. I had the blueberry lemon drop martini, beet salad was a 10 out of 10, calamari was good, but got a little saugy in the sauce. My husband had the pork chop and it was really good. I had the filet. It was supposed to be an 8 oz, but I think I got the end and it was kinda small. It came med-well and I ordered med, but didn’t send it back. Our sides were good, but wish they would have been hotter temp wise. Overall for the price I would expect perfection, but I would eat there again.

    I would highly recommend the District. The food, service, and atmosphere was excellent. The only negative- not the restaurant’s fault, was the parking. Pensacola charges to even Park on the street, if you arrive before 7 o’clock. It was pouring down rain, and my husband parked on the street and didn’t see the sign about paying. (It was our first time visiting downtown). We received and $13.50 parking ticket. Our fault of course but we laughed and said, “Welcome to downtown Pensacola!” So just be aware and be prepared to pay to park.

    The service was excellent once we were sat. The waiter. Mark was exceptional. He knew the menu inside and out and made great recommendations. We had calamari and I highly recommend it. The chateaubriand was cooked to perfection. We do think our plate sat under the heat lamp before the meat was put on because they were different temperatures and we let our server know. It was very loud and difficult to hold a conversation. Perhaps on a weeknight, the noise level would not be so high. We will try this again, but not on a weekend.

    We eat here often and it never disappoints. Large selection of great wines and cocktails. Tasty steaks and appetizers. I’m hoping they bring back the bread service now that Cove it is over. Had a wonderful chocolate raspberry mom, dessert, which always satisfies.
