   We had a wonderful experience at The District! Our server Bailey was excellent and very helpful. We sat by the window and had a great view of the outside activity as we ate. The decor is beautiful and the noise level was just right. Thanks for a very good time!

   Wonderful place with a relaxing atmosphere. The waitstaff was a little rushed but very professional and courteous. The steak were spot on delicious but my dinner partner did not enjoy the red fish (special for the evening). We had the Mississippi mud pie for dessert and it was above average. I didn't notice until we began drinking it (so I'll own it) but they substituted the year of the wine we ordered. A bit of a bummer as the vintage wasn't up to par that year. Again, it could have been a simple mistake and I didn't mention but I think it speaks to how short staffed they were. All in all, definitely recommend but suggest to bring a bit of patience with you and avoid the fish special.

    very overpriced, even in today's economic climate... chateaubriand for 2 @ $140, small portion, incorrect temp, overly seasoned, sides average. Fish special was "fresh cobia", might have been cobia, wasn't particularly fresh and was significantly overcooked, served over some kind of puree that looked and tasted like orange baby food. Pushing $400 for 4 diners, food should be spot-on at this price level and access to fresh ingredients. Have had better experiences here before, this one was poor at best.

    Whether you order steak or seafood you will have an exceptional meal. We had NY strip and halibut last night that was prepared exactly as ordered. Our server, Brianna was the epitome of excellence. Her recommendations were spot on. We will request her on our next visit.

    First time at The District and it did not disappoint. My husband had the ribeye and he said it was one of the best steaks he has ever had. I had the scallops with crawfish risotto which was absolutely amazing. Service was outstanding.

    Everything was just "ok." Nothing truly outstanding. I went on Mother's Day with my son and wife. My wife's steak trio came back very rare (she ordered medium). It was taken, put in a microwave, and brought back. She knows this happened as the steak was hot enough to burn her mouth. The "revised" steak was brown all the way through. Too her credit, the manager came by, saw the steak, and agreed that it was unacceptable. She then brought out a new steak trio which was cooked properly. The whole experience left Mother's Day feeling less than special.

    Our 4 top table wanted to experience the dry aged beef so we split the strips among us and shared sides. Every bite was so worth the price, even the sides. Our server was tops and we all felt pampered, even the moms on Mother’s Day. Would highly recommend to others and will return.

    Very pricey for portion size. Have to pay separately for each item. Food was good. No bread basket provided. There were not very many people in the restaurant but a couple ending up getting seated right next to us. It was like they were at the same table. We could hear their conversation. We were really looking forward to our meal but spent an hour and left with a big bill.

    this place was awesome as usual. we brought some coworker from out of town. they thoroughly enjoyed their meals, as did we. We started with the Crispy Rhode Island Calimari with artichoke hearts. Very good! One guest ordered the steak medallions and she loved it. My wife and another guest had the filet mignon and both also enjoyed it. I had an aged ribeye with a crab cake and it was very good! Our shareable table sides were the Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and the Bourbon Sweet Potatoes. Both shareables were also great! We were all full from our meals and didn't have room for dessert. Our server, Bailey, was awesome! The staff is great and the manager, Lisa, stopped by to see how everything was going.     We were there before a concert that night. We were seated right on time and with a smile. Our server Madison was perfect and visited us to check if we needed anything at just the right time. All our food was wonderful and there was an adequate wine selection. This place is right in the middle of everything going on in downtown Pensacola. The only minor knock would be I’m not sure all their steaks are prime. Black Angus does not mean prime. I for sure recommend The District for an enjoyable evening of fine dining.

    Very disappointed -steaks were bland, scallops were mushy - salmon undercooked and the risotto was hard - however, our waitress was very kind. Just so disappointed- your prices are way overpriced for the quality - I was entertaining family visiting from out of town. I seriously regret taking them here because I could have prepared everything we ordered better than what your restaurant served us.

    We were immediately seated at a table for two. Unfortunately, my seat was at a split in the cushion against the wall, which was a uncomfortable. Our server, Daniel, was terrific! He was knowledgeable, personable, and very helpful. The food was fantastic, as always! We highly recommend the District for an evening of dining pleasure!

    We arrived shortly after 5 for our 5:15 reservation. We were seated promptly and the attentive server took our drink orders and shared the specials. We ordered steak and risotto and the district cheeseburger. Both were delicious. We finished with crème brûlée. The entire experience took just over an hour and for wine, two meals, and dessert was just over a hundred dollars. I would definitely recommend this to others. Especially if your partner loves steak but you maybe not so much.
