More than just a steakhouse unique to the Downtown Pensacola Historic District, we strive to turn moments into memories for our guests.
We proudly serve Certified Angus Beef ®, House Dry-Aged Beef, and the finest Seafood available on the Gulf Coast. We are located in the Heart of Pensacola's Premier Dining and Entertainment District.

Everything was just average. Cheatuabriand was just warm when severed. Not hot. Bernaise sauce room temperature. Ordered a glass of red wine. They had refrigerated it Ordered peach cobbler for dessert. It was some kind of cinnamon cake with about 3 peach slices and ice cream in the middle. I ate the peaches and ice cream and left the rest. I had Capreses salad and it was excellent!

Food, staff, timeliness, excellent. We've dined here on numerous occasions and it's my go to with out of town visitors. And after dinner, make sure to visit the upstairs lounge.

We were there to celebrate my birthday, we shared the oysters Rockefeller for the appetiser with a glass of bubbles from Australia and then for dinner we shared the delmonaco ribeye with the mushrooms and broccoli, all was absolutely fantastic. Our wine choice was Sailors Grave, from Napa, started out very dry but opened nicely. We also shared he peach crumble for dessert, ate every bite. We enjoyed our waitress and the whole evening was quite enjoyable.

Ordered tomahawk for $150. Asked for medium but came out rare/medium rare. The manager kindly heated some of the pre-cut pieces longer ("30 seconds") which brought them to medium rare. The meat was still rubbery and not very flavorful. Advertise as 38 ounces (with 10-12 ounces stated by the waitress for the bone) but I highly doubt there was more than 20 ounces of meat.

Took my wife here for our 12yr anniversary last night. First, I made the reservation on OpenTable and specified in the comments and I selected the button that we were dining for our 12yr anniversary, however there was no mention or announcement from staff to us, which I thought was the reason for asking when I made the reservation. Our drinks were reasonably priced and delicious (an old fashioned for me and whiskey sour for my wife). We ordered soups for our appetizers (lobster bisque and French onion), both were amazing! However when it came to our entrees, that’s where the experience dampened for us. I ordered the steak medallions with mashed potatoes and asparagus, while my wife ordered the scallops with risotto and a side of broccoli. My medallions tasted great and were cooked to my desired temperature (medium) however my asparagus were way too charred and my potatoes lacked flavor, and were very dense, not creamy at all. Our side of broccoli came out cold and too charred. My wife said her food was tasty, but both dishes were warm at best when they came out which turned cold within 10 minutes (no exaggeration I swear). We finished off the night with their bread pudding which my wife loved. Our server Ivy was great and attentive. Overall, if I’m spending $163 plus $20 tip, I expect for my food to at least come out hot. Also with this being an upscale restaurant, I’d recommend they invest in some type of valet service. We moved here for work from being in Memphis for the last 8 years and to compare the service, food, and overall experience between two similar restaurants, this one lacks in all areas. We saw the manager literally go to every other table in our section making sure that everyone’s dining experience was good including the table next to us but didn’t give us the same courtesy. As an African American this concerned me after looking around and seeing a sea of Caucasian patrons dining in the establishment. The District Seville is a one and done for us.

The District is a classy place. Good decor. Love the entrance too. I usually have a great meal there. Last night was a little different. The noise level was high so difficult to hold a conversation in the main dining room. The waitress seemed burnt out and not happy to be there. There weren't any wildly attractive house cocktails. I got the filet mignon which is normally perfect and it was a little too rare and somewhat flavorless. The brussel sprouts were great. My partner got the triggerfish special and it was a disappointment - greasy and unattractive plating. He left a large amount of his food and that is unusual for him! So kind of a let down for a normally consistent restaurant.

I only go with people that I really like. The service was amazing and everyone enjoyed catching up. Don’t skip the lovely cocktails or dessert. This is such a charming place.
