    We enjoyed a quiet Sunday brunch that was filling and delicious. The omelette was fluffy, the eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly, and the home fries spiced to perfection. A hidden gem off the beaten path that we will return to!

    A nice change from the high priced fine dining places in town. Very good food and attentive service. Calamari app was maybe the best I’ve ever had with feta and a hint of mint . Atmosphere was nice but there was a musician when we went who was OK but too loud for quiet conversation. Biggest issue for us was no spirits license yet. Decent wine list, but a little pricey. A good casual spot

    My sisters and I had an amazing dinner here on Friday night. We all ordered the shrimp scampi which was absolutely delicious. The serving size was just right, seasoning, amount of shrimp and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The waitress came to our table several times to check on us and even the restaurant owner stopped by to introduce himself. He inquired if we had enjoyed our meal and shared a story with us. We were also pleasantly surprised that a young guitarist was playing soft diner music and the overall atmosphere of the entire restaurant. Definitely will return to this restaurant again. Just loved everything about this place.

    The District was a hidden Gem. We all enjoyed our dinners. Too stuffed to try the desserts but I am sure they would have been delish as well. We will see you next year for our annual Traverse trip.

    No, we won’t be back. Service extended towards my partner and I weren’t the same. While the treatment towards him was friendly, it wasn’t the same towards me. Any requests he had, it was brought out in no time. With my drink and minor requests, it took eons to arrive and by that time - I was almost done with my meal. Also, no sincere apology whatsoever. The female owner/manager came off as off-putting and unfriendly in her vibe towards me but to my partner? The total opposite. Same thing stemming from the waitress too. There’s two people in a party and we are in 2023, learn to address both genders equally for dining service as well as other ethnicities. For such unfair and biased treatment, no - we won’t be back. This was a special occasion for us (even noted in our reservation as well), and the service ruined it all. The food could be good and a place could be nice, but if service sucked - the formers didn’t matter. Although the food was nothing to write home about. Also, being denied to use their restroom on the second floor with a smirk/laugh from the female manager/owner. Was this a game to you? How could you treat someone so immaturely? You had nothing better to do than to pick on someone? You shouldn’t be in the hospitality sector at all. A total waste of time and money. There’s better restaurants in Saratoga.

    The small plates (which were not small) were awesome. Very flavorful and complex. Get the chicken liver mouse! Soooo good. And the kebobs were amazing.

    Amazing experience, again! John the owner made my mother in law’s birthday celebration very special. We were able to sample a new dessert that we insisted needs to be added to the menu. We all agreed that the entire experience and quality was phenomenal!

    We were able to get in last minute and so very glad we did, everything about our experience was wonderful. The food we ordered was delicious! I had the pork chop which came with a cannellini and artichoke heart side dish. Not only was the chop one of the best I have ever had, the side dish was equally amazing, a lovely surprise. My friends were equally satisfied with their dishes, chicken and steak. The staff that handled our table was equally terrific which made for a great night.

    Do not go until they get used to being open with liquor license. And ….. maybe even skip all together. Complete waste of time and with all the great places to eat around the area…I was very disappointed in myself for choosing this place. The reviews which lead me here were OBVIOUSLY paid for or written by family and friends. Total misrepresentation .

    The dining room was a nice setting and the wait staff was so pleasant and willing to learn. We had selected a table on the second floor in a secluded cubby. This was nice until the sun went down. Then we couldn’t see the food on the table even though the staff tried to find the light switch associated with our recessed lights. The streetlight was blinding one member of our party who was facing the street. The District probably needs to add a retractable shade at that window. While the food was delicious, the main course took forever to arrive at our table. We thought someone forgot to submit the order. Although previous diners gave The District a high rating, we simply can’t. They need to iron out some issues at the leadership level.

    The District is an amazing restaurant, food is delicious, drinks are fantastic, ambience is very chic, staff are very friendly, the live musicians are talented, the outdoor patio is spring/summer perfection, and the bathrooms are the best in the capital district! John, the proprietor is the icing on the cake, an absolute gem in Saratoga. 10/10 recommend.

    Went to The District with a friend and found the restaurant decor to be charming, the service exceptional and the food very good. We ordered 3 appetizers, very different from one another and enjoyed each. Shrimp cocktail for my app, was very good. Shrimp was cook perfectly and the sauce tasty and fresh. For my main dish I enjoy the risotto...had a different twist. Definitely a flavor upgrade and not the same old same old. My friend ordered the strip steak, which she said was tender and cooked perfectly. All in all, a great choice in downtown Saratoga and good value too.

    Great find! We found The District looking for a restaurant near Cafee Lena. John, the owner/chef was gracious, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent: shrimp cocktail was fresh, salmon had a nice flavor, crispy chickpeas were fun. The strip steak and asparagus were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Both meals were accompanied by delicious hummus. We’ll done there again.

    We loved our graduation celebration dinner at the District. The food was outstanding, and the service was perfect. Great selection of Mediterranean style small plates. Don’t miss out on the chocolate crème de pots and home made donuts/beignets.

    We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. The environment is friendly and warm, like visiting family. The owner walked around speaking with everyone and sat down to chat about the upcoming events he is hosting. Very attentive to customers and details. Very nice spot…I will definitely be back!

    The Brunch was fabulous! I Had the Steak and egg, my wife had Eggs Benedict . Food was great and so was the service, very friendly staff too! Will definitely be back for dinner! Loved it!

    Went during restaurant week. We both had the steak. It was cooked perfectly, and was very good! Portion was nice for each of us. Cheesecake was incredible, as well! Very nice and attentive staff.

    We went to The District on a Friday evening, and had a wonderful experience. We had an early-ish reservation and were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, offering suggestions when asked. My husband and I had the calamari as a starter and it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection-we think it might be the best calamari we’ve had in Saratoga. I had the risotto as a main, and it was also top notch. My husband had the mussels and enjoyed the unique flavor combination. We spoke with the owner a bit, and he was very kind and enthusiastic about his food. They are anxiously awaiting their liquor license, but knowing this we grabbed a pre-dinner cocktail before. Definitely a great addition to Saratoga!

    Absolutely the best dine out evenings I’ve had out in a while! The space had warm low lighting and the general set up was perfect for a date night or intimate dinner get together with friends. The menu was not very large but everything we ordered was fantastic. The garlic bread had visible cloves of garlic and with the butter compound, it was a savory but not over powering as an appetizer. Our second courses of skirt steak and salmon were very good portions and were cooked perfectly. The steak in particular was better than some of the dishes I’ve been served at local steakhouses. The skin of the salmon was extra crips and incredibly well seasoned. For dessert, we ordered a slice of cheesecake with very fresh berries and the perfect dessert for any chocolate lover, pot de crème.
