   Dirty, menu online TOTALLY misleading…..all they pretty much have is burgers. Absolutely no ambiance and loud. Clearly more of a bar with food secondary

   Worst possible food and all we had were simple eggs and toast! Scrambled eggs were cold, overcooked and rubbery; bacon was over cooked, greasy and cold; toast (white only choice?) was cold and barely toasted; Hash browns were just Cisco potatoes, cold and over salted. One person had Avocado toast and her toast was burnt and the Avocado was brown. This was a complete waste of money!

   Food was almost inedible. Ordered the special, huevos, and everything was lukewarm. Cheese had congealed to a disgusting blob.

   It was very busy. We were seated 5 minutes before our reservation but the waitress did not come to table for 20 minutes. when she took our drink order she asked one person didn't they want alcohol in their seltzer and lime. she told us 2 items on menu were already gone. we ordered starters and only 3 out of 4 arrived. at least 5 minutes later the 4th was delivered. Pork Belly tacos. Each taco had 1 big piece of pork belly not particularly crispy or flavored. I left one. she didn't comment. Entrees arrived, again only 3. we waited more than 5 minutes and i had to wave waitress down. then it arrived. My grilled Romaine salad was not grilled not even wilted. Roasted salmon had none of sides listed just a pile of undressed lettuce. she also made various weird comments. I had been previously several times for Brunch and lunch and had enjoyed it but I wont be back and neither will my friends.

    Staff over extended which caused them to be irritated and lead to bad service. Very long wait times to be served, no one came over to see if we needed anything or to check how we were doing. Over cooked or wrong meals. Overall not a good experience.

    Overall it was pleasant. Service was running very slow for the amount of people in the restaurant. Pickles and wings were very good. Blue burger was a little underwhelming, but the the flavor was ok. Probably will go back and try something different for entree.

    They had some kitchen problems which led to our order not coming out for over an hour after we arrived which made us miss a part of the show we were seeing. Sadly we also watched 3 other tables that arrived after us, be served before us. The waitstaff tried their best to make up for it and was professional despite the pressure they were under. A note to management, please get your kitchen issues sorted out and prepare servers to compensate patrons when there are significant problems such as these.

    Ordered the huevos rancheros brunch special. The food was highly disappointing. Small portion size, half of a small veggie sausage patty on each tortilla with black beans that weren’t seasoned (maybe just from a can?). Poached eggs were cooked well. Previously ordered this dish on a separate visit and it was awesome. Today it was lukewarm and I left hungry. Servers were pleasant but I would’ve ordered a second drink if they’d come by to ask.

    We requested to sit outside and were told no by the waitress, but another employee said it was fine and put the tables together. Once seated, the waitress passed by our table continuously for the next seven minutes without acknowledging us- it was the other employee that brought over water, and we asked if the waitress was mad at us because of the blatant ignoring. Once this was relayed to the waitress, she came over and explained she was one person and would be right with us, and she's been working sixty hours this week. We asked if it would be better if we sat inside to ease her burden- she claimed we were condescending and should have another employee serve us. We told her whatever she felt she needed to do, and then she decided it was best if we left. Shocked, we asked to speak with the manager, and she informed us that her husband was the owner and he was cooking in the kitchen. Based on the other employee's face, this wasn't the first time he had heard this speech from her. It worked out that we left as the seats were old and uncomfortable, and they were charging $12 for a local craft beer!

    The drinks were great. My District Burger was perfect. The Pad Thai tasted good but was especially hot/spicy which was not indicated on the menu (and not desired by the person who ordered it). Service was good, the servers were very nice. The food took far longer to arrive than expected, especially since the restaurant wasn’t full. We had an event to attend and left with food and drinks still on the table. I will go back but might add a half hour buffer to our reservation time in case the kitchen is still slow. We sat on the front patio which was loud at times when motorcycles went by revving their engines. I may try the side patio next time. Would recommend.

    Food was good. Chefs burger was excellent. Chicken and waffles was over cooked. Salmon was good. The chairs are uncomfortable and hard. The ambiance was lacking. Service was decent. Overall not bad but was over priced for what you got.

    We got there on time and was greeted right away the staff was very pleasant as always. We have been a loyal customer throughout the years the outside tables are perfect for watching the fireworks and enjoying a meal and a cold drink

    Brunch with friends. Good food, not great. Bloody Mary’s were tasty, but not particularly memorable. Huevos Rancheros we’re a decent approximation of what I get Texas, but not the real thing. Service was efficient and unobtrusive which is what I always look for in a restaurant. I would go back, as the prices were not too bad, and overall it was a good restaurant.

    Long delay between ordering and receiving food (poached eggs were overcooked since they obviously sat under the lights too long) but menu was creative and Bloody Marie's were great!

    We had a great brunch until the manager and server felt the need to insult the table after an incident with our neighboring table. It was not the restaurants issue nor their place to insult the entire table in front of the entire place. Not a way to manage or encourage patrons to stop by or return. Very disappointing. If this is how you treat your customers it is not a place for anyone to waste their time or money.

    I haven’t been since they renovated. I liked the looks of the restaurant better when it was wood brick and warm colors. Server was very nice. Food was average. Nothing crazy amazing. We had mussels and burgers. Beer and margaritas. Would I run back, no.

    We have been there twice for brunch and it is fantastic! Indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating. One of my favorite places in Portsmouth!

    The District use to be one of our favorite restaurants. Server was friendly but service was poor. Noisy. Waited forever to give drink and then food order at a non-busy time. All entrees were awful. IDK what has happened but we are not going back any time soon.

    We had a reservation and was told to go to our reserved table. A waitress then came over and told us we didn’t have a reservation and had to move from the table. She was particularly rude. When I showed her the confirmed reservation on my phone she quickly left without an apology. We then were served by a different waitress without an explanation . It left a pretty bad feeling about our overall experience.
