The District Lounge is situated right near the University of Washington Campus and in the lower level of the Hotel Deca. Its tavern-like setting offers a relaxing place to enjoy a drink and a meal with friends. Chef Bauer with help from his crew has created flavorful dishes using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. The District Lounge offers breakfast with such fare as brioche French toast and lemon ricotta pancakes. Patrons can start their dining experience with a quinoa salad, tomato fennel soup or chicken skewers with a smoked jalape–o glaze. An entree of mac n' cheese with bacon, grilled NY steak or wild salmon with a sweet tomato tarragon sauce will satisfy the appetite.
The District Lounge features live entertainment and a happy hour with specials. It hosts private events for birthdays and other special occasions. This tavern also serves brunch on the weekends.
