We are as a family prior to a show . Everyone was great!
The value was good . It’s a bit hidden from the street, but the food is fantastic !
This place looked super cute, but feel a bit flat. When you have a million and one choices in Hell's Kitchen, I would leave this one off the list. The mimosa flight was a highlight as well as the fried chicken, but pretty much everything else was just mediocre.
Love this place! That's why we go there all the time :)
Great Bloody Mary!
We attempted to buy drinks at the bar while our table was being prepared but it was like we were invisible. We were seated between the waitstaff station and the bathrooms. Our waiter was great and the food was great. I did notice the noise level was high. Probably won’t go back. Sorry
This was our first visit to the Distillery and we will return. The food and service were was excellent. The menu and drink choices had something for everyone. The place is cozy and comfortable!
Great brunch spot! Friendly, professional service, creative cocktails & very good food. Recommended 👍
Great food. Perfect service.
Had a wonderful Sunday brunch. The cocktails were delicious and so beautiful, and everyone really enjoyed their food. Music was a little too loud, but I loved that we weren’t rushed through our meal. Great overall experience.
My favorite place to bring guests before seeing a show in the city. Great food, good location.
Good for date. Went at a not busy time tho. Still pretty solid
The selection on the menu is great, something for everyone! And the prices were really reasonable especially for an NYC brunch spot. Great place to go with a few friends, definitely wouldn’t go with a huge group since it’s a little small, but we’ll definitely be back.
Everything was lovely except for the noise level. We were seated in the back room and, once it was filled, it was so noisy it was hard to talk. As we were leaving we noticed how much quieter it was toward the front. Hard to believe it was quieter in the bar area than it was in the dining room!
Had a fabulous meal with friends. Everything we ordered was outstanding. A great varied menu and interesting cocktails.
Prompt friendly service. The food was great and an excellent price for the city. Great selection of draft beers. Would definitely go back
Great meal, service and place
Overall experience was fine but not the culinary brunch we had hoped for during this special day trip to NYC. Food overall was fairly mediocre. Our group had an omelette, frittata, avocado toast, and chicken & waffles. The hash browns served with 3 of the dishes were literally cold, so we asked the waiter if we could get some hot ones and he came back out with another dish...barely lukewarm. The ambiance was nice and the service was ok. They did have brunch drink specials including bloody Mary for $6, i think mimosa and screwdriver prices were the same. Overall value was ok, but glad we didn't pay more for our meals. With so many spots to choose from for our special Sunday visit to NYC was hoping that we had picked a "special" spot, but overall wouldn't revisit, there must be better.
A nice little restaurant with delicious burgers and the zucchini noodle salad was very nice.
Service was efficient and only a short walk to the Gershwin Theatre.
The Distillery has a great brunch menu and nice, clean atmosphere. I highly recommend the Lobster mac and cheese and the short rib grilled cheese. Food is delicious and served in generous portions. During brunch, they offer a mimosa flight, I did not try it during this visit but will definitely return to try it!
We had a great meal. Good food for adults and a solid kids menu. The service was good and the waiter was super friendly!
GF friendly, but I’m not celiac just intolerant. Great vibe!
We have a great time at the Distillery. The food was delicious and we appreciated that the server and kitchen were willing to split a meal for grandma and I. There were many gluten free choices for our daughter. We recommend the Parmesan truffle fries. Our drinks were great as well. The only thing that was troubling were the table across from us doing their football picks! Inside voices would have been appreciated.
Delicious gin drinks for a very affordable price - perfect pre-show meal within walking distance of the Gershwin Theater!
Enjoyable Brunch with unusual selection of dishes. A little on the noisy side
Went on a Sunday post theater. We had a 6pm reservation and surprisingly the place was empty. My guess it is in the opposite direction of where most theater goers go. THEIR LOSS for sure!! The menu was perfect for what we wanted which was a casual meal. The prices extremely reasonable too. I started with the Burratta which was fresh and followed with the Zucchini Zoodles and added shrimp. The portion was generous and the dish delicious! My daughter had the Salmon which was perfectly prepared and presented nicely. Her carrot ginger soup starter was very yummy although I though a heavy choice for a 90 degree day. Definitely a fall season soup. My only complaint was that there was a small language barrier with the wait staff and also they had no hot pepper flakes to spice up my food. Again, not major issue at all. If you are looking for a casual meal that offers a wide range of selections and price points with a good bar vibe you cannot go wrong at The Distillery.
Food and drinks are very good, though a little on the pricey side. Fun atmosphere.
The food really wasn't very good. Super basic and covered in icky thick sauce.
We loved it. Went to a pre-theater brunch on Sunday. Food was really good and restaurant was quiet and clean. Loved the decor and the mimosa flight is a must.
I took my parents to the Distillery for brunch before a show and it was great. The service was on top of everything and really nice. The menu options were great and we all loved everything we ordered, from the mimosa flights to specialty gin cocktails to the brunch food. There was a small hiccup with our reservation, as someone checked in under my name and took our reservation, but they had another table ready so nothing went wrong other than a slightly embarrassed hostess. I honestly can't wait to go back to try more drinks and food!
The waitress didn't know the wine list. The wine list was really limited, to boot. And their vegetarian options are limited.
I wish I could remember the name of our server, but I'm so bad with names. He was fantastic. The food was fantastic. I have no complaints, and I usually do. Highly recommend this place. We, myself, my daughter, my sister in law, and my niece went here for dinner after seeing one of the best Broadway shows I have ever seen. Best night ever!!! By the way we saw "Be More Chill."
Dinner before a show. Great food and service!
It was supposed to be close to the theater district. There were other restaurants much closer. The food was fair, at best, and the children's milk was sour. They did go out and buy fresh milk but really.... The hamburgers were overcooked for the three meals that were ordered. The restaurant was basically empty so
I'm have a hard time justifying the overcooked hamburgers.
Very disappointed in the food and overall experience, it was my granddaughter’s first trip to New York and I wanted to make it special but there wasn’t anything special about this restaurant.
Food here is always great and they have amazing cocktails. Service was a little slow but we weren’t in a rush.
Probably the best Irish/British breakfast I've ever had in North America. Great value, tasted amazing.
Too loud! Even with reservation had to sit in bar area right under the speaker. Complained to staff but they did not find us alternate seats
The service and food at The Distillery were great! I highly recommend the pulled rib grilled cheese. I also tried some of an omelette that was delicious!
My only complaint would be the noise. The acoustics in the back room aren't great. There were two large parties, and with everyone talking it was hard to hear myself think or carry on a conversation at my table.
Great brunch deals.
