The Dirty Habit is a beautiful 13th Century pub situated in the picturesque Kentish village of Hollingbourne. Set on The Pilgrims Way in a designated area of natural beauty, with many walks and bike rides from the pub, it has been used by pilgrims on their way to Canterbury for centuries. It is reputed that King James II stayed at the inn whilst on his way to France via Canterbury and Dover. We offer a varied selection of freshly prepared food all day every day, both traditional English as well as continental specialties using local suppliers whenever possible to support the local farming community. For those special occasions we can offer a private dining service in a beautiful period room 'The Monks Corner' with oak beams to the apex and an inglenook fireplace to set it all off.

Had a great roast dinner here. Unfortunately had run out of a couple of roasts but that was understandable as it was late in the day. Food and service was good. We will be coming back and also planning to visiting some of they're other pubs.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Desserts were very good. Service was excellent - relaxed and good humoured. Parking was a bit of a problem because of popularity but we managed to park on the road.

Was very disappointed in the evening, I booked a table for 7:30 didn't get seated until gone 8pm. Once seated our menus took ages to be brought over to us. Almost felt like we were just left in the corner. The food was okay but we were all past it after our food finally came along about 9:15pm. Had booked the table for a double birthday but was very disappointed.

The food is always amazing here and very friendly staff too. It was a very busy night and the service was a little slow but staff were very apologetic about this. I can thoroughly recommend this pub.
