The Dining Room at Sun Mountain Lodge provides brunch and dinner in an upscale-casual atmosphere for both hotel guests and outside diners alike, while the Bar & Grill provides a relaxed first-come-first-served atmosphere for afternoon bites and dinner. Our menus are inspired by the Methow Valley, consisting of locally sourced meats and produce with select seasonal rotations. Brunch is served in the dining room from our incredible a-la cart menu from 7:30am until 1:00pm with lunch items available until 2:00pm. Dinner is served from 5pm until 8pm from our diverse and diner friendly menu in both the Dining Room and Bar. Reservations are strongly recommended for both brunch and dinner in the Dining Room.
Bar Bites are served in the Bar & Grill from 2pm until 9pm with TV's available to watch your favorite sports teams and networks while enjoying our large variety of crafted cocktails and classic bar favorites. And don't forget our one-of-a-kind views of the valley!! Come join us today!

It’s always fun to dine at Sun Mountain Lodge. I would have given five stars except my pasta was overly salty. It was good but I would have loved it with less salt. My watermelon, feta, and mint salad was outstanding. Our server Danielle was terrific.

Over the years we have dined at Sun Mountain Lodge The Dining Room and not been disappointed. But our recent experience was different. The wait staff is awesome. Helpful - we had our granddaughter with us and they were quick to provide her with crayons and an activity book to entertain her.

This evening we experienced exceptional service once again in this restaurant. Two very warm and kind ladies, Darcel and Danielle were there looking after us and they made our evening a memorable one.

The view is terrific, and our server was attentive. Too bad the food did not live up to those standards. We both ordered seared halibut. It had the texture of a hockey puck. It was difficult to cut it with a knife. We did not return the meal because both servings were the same. What would have been the point?

Great view. Food was very good though the menu is small. They seem understaffed but the servers they do have work hard. The kitchen is perhaps faster than the servers. Overall a lovely dinner.

Everything was great until the bill arrived. I have a dairy sensitivity, which I declared. Without any notification I was charged extra $3 to cook my meal. Since I wasn’t offered alternatives how can it cost extra to leave off the butter! Totally spoiled a potentially great experience!

Everything was great. However, the beet salad was not worth the money. Nothing special. Also the ribeye was supposed to be cooked medium rare but actually was medium well. It was seasoned properly and tasted good but just a bit dry because it was overcooked.

There is not appear to be a capable chef present. This may not be surprising, considering the loss of a lot of the employees after the recent turnover in ownership. It is unfortunate however.
