   The hummus plater was delicious as was the arugula and little gem salads. The flourless chocolate cake was a true delight for capping off a great meal. Service from Ella was exemplary as usual.

   Incredible service, delicious food, and beautiful dining room with views of the Disney and Lincoln. We enjoyed every moment—from the gondola ride over to the yummy birthday dessert.

   Five stars for the unique experience Having dined at every restaurant on the North shore and having many favorites in Truckee we decided to have more of an adventure dinner by going to the dining room at Sugar Bowl. Just the experience of getting on a 1960s era gondola to get to your dinner is a thrill and sets the tone for the evening When you arrive at the hotel itself there is a lot of energy young families kids and vacationers that make it feel energetic and lively The hotel and dining room itself have been updated recently and it has a nice rustic yet modern feel. The menu is focused and not overly ambitious. The service is solid to very good The food is on par with traditional North shore cooking... And the prices are reasonable for vacation town USA We will return and it is a place that we will likely bring a number of couples and friends for The unique Tahoe experience that is unmatched.

   A wonderful evening. The hummus appetizer was perfect with lots of hummus , garlic and the naan was the best we have ever had. The scallop appetizer was cooked perfectly but wish there were more than 2 scallops for $26. The argula salads we both had were tasty and filling.

    The Dining Room at the Village Lodge was built in 1939 and is commemorated with historic photos throughout. It is a charming fine dining experience, excellent food to be enjoyed in a casual setting after skiing, or after an evening ride in on the gondola. Menu is gourmet and changes frequently. The walnut tart dessert is scrumptious. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Donner Summit in the winter. The dining room is open during the ski season only.

    We really enjoy eating at the Dining Room for lunch when we are skiing. It's become a tradition for us. I love the convenience, the warmth and the upscale menu. Service was perfect and professional. We eat here every time we ski at Sugar Bowl.

    For 15 anniversaries in a row, this place is magical. Surrounded by international skier families, it's rustic, elegant, and casual. One of the best wine lists I've seen. Service staff is very friendly and reasonably efficient. And the menu has a delicious assortment, all prepared perfectly. The gondola ride in is also a special treat, with a short walk outside on the snow to the lodge. No traffic, and parking is a breezed. A very special evening indeed! We'll be back for the next anniversary, and the next, and the next . . .

    The Dining is great; from the wood fire place to the vintage charm, the ambience is worth the trip. The gondola ride in is fun for anyone too. The staff was great, sat us early and we had an excellent server.

    I was looking for a hearty breakfast prior to a day of skiing. I ordered the mushroom omelette. I was expecting a three egg omelette and it was probably made from two eggs and the potatoes although tasty were too few. Consequently, I ten ordered the french toast to fill me up. That was a little more generous in serving size. Overall, the food was good, but at $30 for breakfast, a little too pricey for breakfast.
