Went to have birthday drinks and dinner.
1. Happy Hour was cancelled as it is only on the roof-top bar and it was closed for the day - no substitute given so pre dinner drinks were very expensive.
2. Dining room was nice and initial service was pleasant enough. Me I looked appetizing.
3. Pork chop was so tough that couldn't eat it
4. Potato Gratin was raw
5. No one came to check after food was presented whether it was of a good standard. Had to usher over a waiter to let them know, we were one of 2 tables so no excuse really that the food wasn't well prepared and to be forgotten about.

I really wanted to like the place because it looks great and has amazing views - but it was a very poor experience and they need to sharpen up their act. Ramsey would have a field day here.

I made reservations for 9 pm and made a special notation that it was my 4 month anniversary. When we got there there was no one to seat U.S. and the bartender was hesitant to seat us. We finally sat down and he was not very accommodating. At the end we wanted to order coffee but he said the bar was closed and they were not serving coffee. This was at 10 pm. I will never dine there again. Not a good memory of our anniversary.

A hotel restaurant that is quiet, usually not crowded, classy inside or outside by the pool. The dining room looks out over Ocean Ave to Palisades Park and the ocean. A real treat!

Horrible service. Waited 30 mins for someone to take our order. The food took over an hour to be ready. No one came to the table to ask how we were doing.

My husband and I had a Gilt City voucher for this restaurant, so we decided it try it. We went on a Saturday lunchtime. The service was great and the food was really tasty, so we will definitely be back!

We arrived for our 8:15PM reservation, were seated and from there, were rarely checked on after the hostess left us and the waiter brought us our drinks despite the fact that our party was literally the ONLY group there other than one couple. Once we tracked down our waiter to order, it only got worse. We did not receive our food until 10:17PM. I was in utter disbelief.

What a wonderful brunch! The food, service, and atmosphere was delightful! The Latin Jazz band rocked! I'll certainly return again!

I tried a bit of the whole families orders, so ...
The fish and chips was the best I've ever had, the tarter sauce had cyan in it and I like spicy.
The Rack of Lamb and the Pork Chops where both excellent as well cooked to perfection!

Had a wonderful experience. We are from the Bay Area and we're looking for an eclectic mix of options at a quiet venue. The service was quite slow, but overall, we enjoyed our meal and experience.

This was my second time at the Dining Room and I was shocked at the difference in the food. My chopped chicken salad had two main ingredients missing (snow peas and mushrooms) and the long pieces of unwieldingly thick chicken tasted dry and difficult to eat. My husband's French Dip sandwich was dry and cooked so much that it fell apart tastelessly. It was served with fried onion rings, but the onions were only supposed to be grilled. We'll likely never go back.

I am guessing the staff are not yet fully trained. We had to call the waiter over several times to sort things out. The waiter did not pay enough attention to my companion and me while we were ordering. For example, although he was told one of us was vegetarian, he kept extolling non-vegetarian foods. Instead of main courses, we ordered two appetizers a piece. I chose one, but was not sure which of two others I might like. I finally chose one, but was served three appetizers. He took away one, but I was charged for all three. I had to request he take one off the bill. The waiter should have recited back to me what I had ordered before leaving the table. Finally, we had trouble getting his attention so we could pay and leave. I might return, but not yet.
