Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue South & Demonbreun, The Diner is the crown jewel of Downtown Nashville’s SoBro district. Our 6 story restaurant boasts six unique floors, each with gorgeous views of downtown.     When we were seated, the air conditioner was blasting so cold, we asked to be moved. We were freezing and our food would get cold really fast. The server said she would ask the manager to raise the temperature. It never happened. We asked to be moved and were told the other tables were reserved. (We had a reservation as well.) We had to go stand by the window in the sun to get warm. They finally moved us to another table (the supposedly reserved one). No one ever showed up at any of the other tables. Looked to us like we were lied to. This all took place at 5:30 in the afternoon. There are a lot of dining options in downtown Nashville. I will definitely choose elsewhere on my next trip. The food was okay, but nothing outstanding.
