Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue South & Demonbreun, The Diner is the crown jewel of Downtown Nashville’s SoBro district. Great food; we have dined there many times, and it's always good. We have probably tried everything on the menu. The service is always good, and the ambiance is perfect!

Overall dinner was amazing. And don't get me started on the food. There is no way to put in words how wonderful the food was. The environment was perfect. It give off fancy dinner but at a good price. I had the rattlesnake pasta, and wow it was the best pasta I've ever had. So I will be dining here again.

The food was horrible my wife and I just ordered 2 cheeseburger platters medium rare with we'll done fries. Pretty straight forward and simple after lose to 45 minutes the two we'll done burgers ca.e out they were disgusting. That's the absolute last time at this place

Food was good. We were asked to leave to make room for a larger party coming in. Didn’t seem quite fair.

Food was meh, service was horrible, and it doesn't seem like a well-run restaurant. They only had three appetizer plates, so we had to share, and some dinners were served on sizzler plates (which is for food prep, not service (two people in our party work or have worked in restaurants, so know this)).

Have always enjoyed eating at The Diner. Our server wasn’t great this time which was unfortunate. Besides that, good experience.

Great location and ambiance which helped make up for the below average food. Burgers were ok and Cobb salad with fried chicken was pretty good, but bang bang shrimp awful (flat as pancake frozen battered shrimp with what tasted like store bought chili sauce), and Greek salad not good (missing cucumbers, only one olive, barely any feta, chicken unappealing and flavorless). Sat on first floor which was very nice with old time soda-shop feel, large booths and open air windows which was great for people watching.

Service and food was wonderful. The views of downtown were excellent. They helped us with our special occasion dinner and could not have been more pleased. Would definitely positively review and go again when I’m in Nashville!

We have lived in Nashville for over twenty years and dinned all around town! We picked this spot to try for my daughters graduation lunch and it was hands down the very worst experience and worst food we have ever eaten. My son ordered steak and eggs, steak came out raw, I ordered a waffle and it was cold and underwhelming. You think they would put some butter or whipped cream on it. Nope! My daughter ordered a turkey sandwich and she got literally 5 French fries. Then the bill charged us an administration fee, on top of taxes! We will NEVER go back

Great spot! Ate there twice during our 3 day trip! Would highly recommend. The waffle sliders are the best!
