We ordeedr several plates to sample and share. Each plate had its own outstanding presentation and flavors. The sizes were most generous. The staff was delightful. Bravo The Dial!
I had a yuzu slushee, it was pretty awesome and it's just another tangible reason why this place is much better than 7-11.
Food, drinks, and service were outstanding!! Definitely recommend and will be returning! ❤️
A great place to meet up with friends for a drink and food. I would definitely come back to The Dial in the future! My friends and I came for brunch and sat on the lovely patio. I got the lamb burger and my friend got the house burger (it's like a homemade Big Mac - delicious!) and we loved our bloody marys. I also got a frozen mojito which was delicious and complimented my lamb burger beautifully. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgable, personable, and a delight.
Loved the feel of the space.
The menu is small but creative.
The drinks are AMAZING.
The noise level in the restaurant is almost unbearable. You can barely hear your server or the person you are with.
Everything was great
Food was subpar.
Whoever was the host/manager that evening has poor customer service skills. We were asked to move to another table but the approach was less to be desired.
The dish portions need to be addressed in terms of an accompanying vegetable or starch along with it.
Was here for brunch in the past and the food was great. Not too impressed with the dinner so far.
nice outdoor area, tasty drinks, fun and varied menu and all the food is good, attentive and kind staff
Great experience and service, amazing food and great music.
Great food and atmosphere at The Dial and outstanding bar staff!! Molly, Molly, and Cody are resplendent in their roles! 15 out of 10, this place is quickly becoming a go-to spot for me.
This new restaurant is a LOT of fun!! A lively atmosphere, *outstanding* service, good drink choices and eclectic food choices. We sat outside and enjoyed being in the open air; even though it was energetic, we could still talk without shouting.
The main reason this wasn't 5 stars all around was that it was a bit pricey for what we got, particularly the cocktails. We realize this is how many restaurants are making money these days but still.
Excellent cocktail selection, exquisite food, very nice spacious patio, excellent service.
Our server was so friendly, knew the menu well, asked if we had any food allergies to be aware of, and was super fun! The ambiance and food were a 10/10. We sat on the patio and the vibes were IMMACULATE. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful interior, unique menu, and amazing service. Caesar was our waiter and took good care of my friend and I. He made us feel like we were guest at his home. The food was delicious! The flavors were unique and balanced. Overall, I had an incredible time. I will be back.
Great atmosphere fun place to go
Overall the experience was good. Food was decent, service was quite good! Only real downside is it fills up fast and the noise levels build up fairly quickly. Inside looked more peaceful than the outside eating of you are comfortable with that.
Awesome outdoor patio. EXCEPTIONAL service for our group of 6. Nice cocktails. The food was a tad hit or miss, but it is difficult to do everything well with such an eclectic menu. Perhaps they should consider taking a slightly more focused approach? Either way, we had a five-star experience overall and will definitely be back, if only for drinks and apps.
menu is limited and doesn't fit the season. Add a salad and I'll be back.
Made reservations for roof deck and was shown to back deck on first floor with no view.
Delivery of drinks from bar was quite slow. Back deck area is crowded with Tables and high fences around the deck prevent any type of view of surrounding area.
The Dial is a vibe -- great ambiance with some cool, eclectic decor. A bit loud, but was expected for a Friday night. Our server was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we could need, including offering drink recommendations when requested and making conversation about particular gluten-free dishes. We ordered an array of food, with my favorite being the garganelli dish. The sugar snap pea lemon fritters and flautas were also enjoyable. Definitely recommend for a different experience and a chance to taste some great food and drinks.
Good choice last minute...nice range of dishes and attentive service
The service was terrible. Our waitress only took our order and brought a first round of drinks. Someone else brought the food but neither of them asked if we were all set, liked the food, or wanted more to drink. I was there for brunch with my mom and we were both very disappointed. We got just the first round of drinks and food and when we were done, we waited about 30 minutes to even get our bill and that was because I had to get the waitresses’ attention.
The service and the ambience was very nice. The food tasted okay. It is a sharing food experience however the value of the food was not on par with pricing therefore the pricing of the food was overrated. I hope they will improve on their flavoring and increase the portion a bit more. The large noodle size was not even enough for one person. Would try again if they better their flavoring and slightly increase the portion size.
Incredibly poor value. It feels criminal for them to charge what they do for so tiny a food cost.
Be prepared to go home and make yourselves dinner after eating here. Nice patio. So i guess ok for drinks.
First timer and loved it!! Service was exceptional and so was the food.
Food is below average . Service was good . The drinks are good .
Awesome everything—especially love the bartender and the frozen drink bar. Can’t wait for rooftop to open!!!
The food was good and the patio is nice. The chairs were not comfortable, so that’s a drawback.
The deck is very nicely laid out. Not really noisy though it was full. Waitstaff were very nice. It's a bit pricey. The drinks really add to the cost. All enjoyed the food though I would recommend if you are vegetarian, there are not a lot of choices. One of us had pasta with mushrooms, asparagus and snap peas but they left on the tough portion of the snap pea which is stringy and sharp. You can't really eat that part.
We would go back again but maybe just have small plates.
Incredible food, drinks, patio, and service! Superior food and menu in a casual setting.
The food was exceptionally meh.
Farewell dinner for my former boss. Outstanding food and service. Love The Dial!!
Great food, fun place, great staff. Tried something new and made new friends. Highly recommend it
Great ambiance and amazing cocktails. Staff was wonderful and would definitely be going back.
excellent food and service though we were bummed that the Bass entree had run out
Our server was OUTSTANDING! It was mothers day and the roofdeck was quite busy, but he stayed on top of all our table allergies, and did it with a smile. He even let us change to the tall table in the corner that was in the sun. The food was quite delicious and we loved the mothers day special.
Had an early dinner so some tables still were empty and room was pretty quiet. Food was excellent and unique, different than the normal menu. Service was attentive and welcoming. All around good time, we would return.
Fun and flavorful night. Eclectic menu and vibe, complementing the urban space. We loved all the food especially the lamb burger. And cod cheek fish and chips. Welcome addition tucked away in central square - will be back!
The food is awesome! We had small plates and a couple entrees and absolutely superb. Different spin on some traditional dishes with incredible flavor, presentation and quality. Cocktail magicians nailed it! We also had a couple Italian reds that were well paired for the meals at reasonable prices. Overall, the best part is we had an unpretentious, refreshing and a genuinely FUN experience! Best in Cambridge. Can’t wait to go back!
