El Derby, fundado en 1922 y de gestión y propiedad familiar desde 1951, es más que un restaurante. El establecimiento es un gran museo que muestra los mejores momentos de las carreras de caballos. Los comensales están invitados a tomarse un respiro de las prisas de la vida moderna y viajar en el tiempo a la época de George Woolf y Seabiscuit y volver a vivir la ilusión de la Carrera del Siglo.     Another splendid dining experience at The Derby! Delightful decor, very professional service, delicious beef (prepared "bleu," just the way we like it!), wonderful appetizers and sides. Couldn't be any better! This is a grand establishment, serving guests for more than 100 years, and we're trying to figure out a way that we can return and return and return for the NEXT 100 years! Our favorite in the area, for sure.

    Definitely had the worst experience by far dining here. Checked in over 20 minutes earlier than reservation time and still waited nearly 40 minutes till table was ready. Waitress was nowhere to be seen for nearly half an hour when desert was finished and ready for a check, as a matter of fact, there were no staffs anywhere in that section nor the check-in counter.

    Wonderful service and great food! We were celebrating a birthday, and were given Baked Alaska for the table by our wonderful server, making it a memorable experience!

    We booked this restaurant for a family reunion, drawn by its nostalgic charm and historical significance. While the setting was unique, the experience was disappointing. Despite only having two tables occupied in the room, service was extremely slow — it took 10 minutes just to receive menus and another 20 minutes before our order was taken. The prices were quite high, but unfortunately, the quality of service, the steak and overall experience did not match. Disappointing.
