Easy parking, easy to get reservations, classic we’ll-executed Italian food in a beautiful atmosphere. Strange they had Spanish rap music playing—seemed out of sync with the ambiance but they changed it when we suggested different music.

We love this place! We started out with the blistered Shishido peppers and the cilantro corn rice balls and they were both delicious. Wished we’d had the Caesar but enjoyed the specialty salad. Shared the double cut pork chop with extra mashed potatoes and asparagus…perfectly done and plenty! The ambiance by the pool is possibly the best in Sonoma. Wait staff are attentive and don’t make you order everything at once. A nice touch when dinner out is the evening’s event!

The Depot was our favorite restaurant in Sonoma! Everything was perfect - the atmosphere, the service, the food! This cute place has so much history. It used to be a train station, then a hotel and now a restaurant! The food was simply amazing and could not be topped the rest of our trip. Louis was an amazing server who let us take our time and enjoy our bottle of wine before we even ordered our main course. We had the Tomato Burrata salad and the scallops, both of which were outstanding! We definitely plan to return this restaurant again on our next visit to Sonoma. Honestly, had we not already had dinner reservations for the next evening we would have dined here again the following night!

Food and music was great!! Service was poor. Disappointing, we had to ask for our server to visit our table, then no check back when our food was dropped, we needed salt but had to flag down someone. I would go back but sit at the bar.

It was such a delightful evening.- The local is beautiful and the ambience is unrivaled. Out hostess was lovely and quite accommodating, our waiter Charles was very entourée and brought the light and smiles. The food was delicious and we left feeling content and joyful.- It’s an absolute gem!

Things have surely changed at this restaurant. In the past there was quite an extensive menu and it has been severely downsized. Our meals were good, not outstanding as I remembered.

First time dining there since they changed owners. Very much enjoyed our dinner on their lovely patio. Take way: 1. Food prices were reasonable. 2. Service attentive 3. Surroundings very pleasant and 4) Noise level (music) not intrusive-which is a common problem at other restaurants we frequent. Will definitely go back!

The food was all yummy; The pasta carbonara was especially delicious. Superb service. Great atmosphere. There was some kind of baseball tournament going on across the street making finding a parking space difficult, but that’s not the fault of the restaurant.

Already left one review but was asked again. Disappointing. Having been to the Depot Hotel. whose menu is still posted online several times i was excited to host friends to fine dining. When menu arrived none of my favorite dishes were listed. This restaurant is now no better than every other pizza parlor. around. In fact less good. I was embarrassed and angry. The menu is small uninspired and the food follows suit 2 salads 2 pizzas 1 pasta dish that looked like dog food a beer and a bottle of wine 200+ with a tip

Definitely one of the better Italian restaurants in sonoma! Tucked away yet populated but not over crowded. Comfortable layout and very yummy food PLUS dessert. Highly recommend for both tourists and locals!! Great service. Great date spot and even a nice family dinner.

Food was OK not over the top not bad service was deplorable. Several people came in after our party and were served. We waited and waited. Portions were very small very little conversation from the wait staff or service. Would not recommend for future to many good restaurants in the Sonoma area. It was pretty, but not really over the top too bad.

We had a lovely lunch at the Depot Restaurant. The outdoor dining area is really lovely and comfortable, the service was very good, and the food was delicious. Very nice ambiance, and it would be gorgeous dining there on a warm summer evening. We look forward to returning!

We booked the restaurant on past reviews and the current menu as it was our first time visiting the area. I am a vegetarian and the menu had plenty of options for me. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and we were seated very quickly. The food was fresh and extremely tasty and well presented. The wine list was a mix of local and European wines and offered a great choice at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a great ambiance and the seating well positioned around the pool and the patio area with heaters available if it were to get chilly. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and would come back if we were ever in the area again.

My husband and I both ordered the Eggplant Lasagna. It was very delicious. Then we ordered the Tiramisu for dessert. It was the best I have ever tasted! Wonderful environment. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.
