   We created a reservation the day prior for the restaurant and showed up at the set time only to see a sign on the door stating the restaurant was closed for a private event for 4 hours…. We asked the person at the door who simply told us there was nothing he could do but to contact the manager extremely frustrating that this information was not given for reservations.

   We got there about 5:30, for a 6:00 reservation. The hostess was very sweet and offered to sit us while we waited for the other couple. The music was blasting in the empty place.. The waitress did ask the DJ to lower the volume..and he did, somewhat. Two of us ordered the avocado salad with shrimp. My shrimp were scorched.. Half of our salads were red onions…disappointing. The men’s’ meals were just ok.. The best part was that it was a close walk to the Broward Center.

   Overall we had a good time. This is definitely a sports bar and we went the day of a big UCF game so about halfway through our meal it got packed. Our waiter Maria was great, very friendly and had good recommendations. The booth tables are a bit uncomfortable and we were sat near the front door which made all the hot air from outside hit us first. The food came out pretty fast for being so busy. I got the buffalo cauliflower wings which were very spicy and huge. A big plus is they give a 15% discount if you are going to a show at the broward theater. Would probably eat there again if going to a show.

   We had 8:00 show tickets for the Broward Center. We parked in the garage and walked to the restaurant. The food was very good ( burger, Philly cheesesteak and Mahi sandwich) the Calamari was excellent. Drinks were great... cold cold beer, and the service was friendly. Overall a nice experience.

    Told them we were seeing a show. Received appetizer and drinks in a timely manner, At 7:35 we didn't have our entrees. When it was delivered, we had to leave and my entree order was wrong. we were comped but overall it was a disappointing experience.

    The service and food were outstanding. The owner went above and beyond to cater to our needs. He was very friendly and made sure we were happy throughout the night. There is a discount if you see a show at the Broward Center.

    There were homeless people everywhere outside and it is an open area. Open table should not let this place be on the roster. It was actually frightening. The food was good but once the game was on the noise level made it difficult to talk. You should not send tourists to this neighborhood. I felt terrible as I was entertaining an out of town relative and I trusted open table to have reputable listings.

    The food was surprisingly good for a bar. The waitress was sweet and unfortunately the kitchen was far away . So when we requested things it came after we finished. We table was very uncomfortable. We would get a booth next time. We would go back .

    We went before theater at the Broward Performing Center which is down the street. A casual, mainly bar restaurant. Nice but small menu with mostly bar food. Lots of tv's over the huge bar. A little on the loud side with the canned music. I tried the Black & Bleu Burger,8oz patty grilled , topped with melted Bleu Cheese, Thick-Cut Bacon, & Caramelized Onions. Very good with great French fries with the skin on. My wife ordered the Quinoa Salad, Quinoa, Whipped Goat Cheese, Red & Golden Beets, and Arugula with A Balsamic Reduction Drizzle.     First of all the food was amazing!!!! from the calamari to the black and blue burger and their kickin chicken wrap. Prices are fair for the portions and the food came out hot and fresh. The ambience was nice and our server was great. They might have been a bit unstaffed and waited a bit for our check but over all we had a great time!

    Date night and then off to theater. Good walking distance to the theater so nice and convenient. The host is the same person that brings your food. Definitely were understaffed. With is the new norm, so I didn’t mind being patience. Our server was very nice, but didn’t even know what was on the menu. Overall food was okay, I had the avocado salad and my husband had the burger. Nothing over the top. Typical bar food. Honestly first impression wasn’t amazing. But I see pictures and videos from maybe it’s more of a late night vibe. We went around 7pm, won’t go back for dinner. But maybe if I’m on the area and walking around stop by for drink.

    Server was nice. Tables giant square boxes so no room for legs under. Extremely uncomfortable- especially for tall people. As for the food- had Caesar salad with chicken. Chicken was uncooked, salad very salty. Got extremely sick afterwards. Won’t ever go back.

    Had fantastic service at this new fun spot downtown. The food and drinks were very tasty and reasonably priced as well. We went for a late dinner and the music was loud however that was fine for the vibes we were going for. This place turns more into a bar scene at night so it’s very doable to have dinner and drinks and then stick around for dancing and fun after.

    We chose The Den because of the menu and the proximity to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. We had a 6:30 reservation and the restaurant was not crowded (I think it has a later crowd). We ordered and were quite pleased with the food preparation, taste and presentation. We will definitely go back pre-theater.

    Service was not great and there were not a lot of people there. The beers we ordered were not what we got. The food had no flavor at all. The hummus and chickpea appetizer tasted like nothing. We got our check pretty quickly and left. Would not recommend it

    It's great to see an open restaurant in this area. We were on our way to the Broward Center and decided to try The Den. Friendly staff, good burgers and salads at a reasonable price. Lots of TVs if you want to catch up with your favorite sports teams. We need to support these new restaurants! Great find.

    The location is great if you are going to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The restaurant is very clean and the wait staff very friendly. Overall the food was very good, two of us had the Black and Blu Burger and it was done as requested. If I go back and order it again I will ask for extra Blu Cheese as it was not a large amount. If you're going to eat and not just sit and drink I would recommend you take a high top, the booths are roomy but the "tables" are small and low, so not really made for dining. Finally, if you don't drink then your choices are limited. No ice tea, the diet soda was flat (guess they don't sell many) but not anything to ruin an overall good experience. Our waitress was very nice and apologized for not being more attentive to us.
