   Just finished up a short family trip to the Dells. In my work travels, I have stopped here several times a year and the experience, food, service has always been top notch. One of the best overall restaurants in the Midwest. It is worth the stop! The next generation owners have only improved on what was already a great stop. Will be returning soon!

   We celebrated hubby’s birthday there. Erica was our server, she was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food drinks and desserts were excellent. We had a great time even with the ‘loud’ ladies behind us.

   Our server Brooke was absolutely phenomenal! She was so kind and generous. She gave excellent recommendations on what to eat and had exceptional service. She went above and beyond my expectations and made is feel very welcome. Definitely recommend the Del Bar and Brooke!!

   We recently visited Del Bar and we caught our server on her first night back for the season. Our service experience may not have been the best that night, but I was contacted (by Amy) a few days after our visit to offer an apology for our experience. Amy truly made it right! Our food the night of our visit was very good. We don't live too close to the Dells, but if we are back in the area and wish to have a nice dinner we will definitely give Del Bar a second chance.

   Del Bar is a must every time we are in town because it has the best food and service. Filip was our waiter and he was amazing! He was very attentive, informative and just a pleasure to be around. We had a great time and can't wait to return!

   We had a wonderful time celebrating our 30th anniversary and a visit from our daughter and her boyfriend who reside in Florida and our other daughter. The best gift is time spent together. Fantastic service, cocktails, appetizers, and meals.

    I have to ask the Del-Bar.... What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this? This is a sophisticated eatery in a decidely unsophisticated town (argue with me about that if you want, but this is the Waterpark capital with a Waterpark clientele). I was worried they might have a dress code. They do not. Perhaps they should, tho, because this is high class food. This is not a place for small children. In all seriousness, the food was superb, the staff, friendly and attentive, the wine and cocktail list extensive. It is expensive, but you get exactly what you pay for. I'd give 10 stars if it was allowed!

    The Del Bar met its usual high bar as we enjoyed my birthday. Everything was perfect, from the Southern Comfort Old Fashioned in the bar to the chocolate mousse dessert. Our waitress was courteous and interested in us, yet efficient and not intrusive. We celebrated our wedding reception at "Jimmie's Del Bar" in September 1966. Returning is always a treat!

    The service was amazing! Even the hostess was so kind and really was attentive to guests needs! I got the cheese curds and the brick chicken! It was amazing! It is hard to create a perfect chicken with skin that is still juicy but Del Bar did it! Also I requested a window seat because it was my birthday event and the view was so beautiful! Will definitely come back! 100 % Recommend Del Bar! 10/10 experience 10/10 food 10/10 service!

    This is one of our favorite restaurants and we dine there whenever in the Dells area. The filet was perfection. Done perfect and excellent flavor. The schnitzel was also excellent. Great service and ambiance. Highly recommended

    Had another fantastic time! We've been here a handful of times and between the food and the service it has quickly become our favorite upscale place. Our waitress Bianca (whom we have twice now) is wonderful, I will be requesting her section when we come back.

    We the misfortune of going there on the Friday eve of the car show. A total zoo of traffic and people yelling obscenities at us from their cars (classy...). We had a late reservation and paid the price for no prime rib left, incorrect drinks and soup orders. It's a nice enough place. Maybe we'll try again someday....

    Best restaurant in Dells area. Server was superb, as was the dinner. But the traffic was horrific, I did ask why thousands of people sitting outside, looked like a parade route. No, it was a car show that would be driving by. Glad we left plenty early. Always a treat to go to the Del Bar.

    When their is a big event in town and if iam paying 200 plus dollars for a meal can we have some sort of traffic control to get in and out of your parking lot. Lots of people save to eat at your place and would like to not worry about parking and ignorance in the parking lot also.

    Food was delicious! Husband had the prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. I had the walleye and it was lightly breaded, moist and flaky. I upgraded to the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, the lettuce was fresh and real bacon bits. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was attentive, but not hovering. Overall the service was superb, from start to finish. We also had an appetizer of calamari. The portion was large and nicely deep fried, but not greasy. The atmosphere is calm and we did not feel rushed.

    Excellent- food, service and atmosphere. I was so pleasantly surprised to find such a fanatic place in the Dells! It’d been many years since we spent time here and I went in with not very high expectations, which were quickly blown away. We each had a variety of oysters - good as any we’ve had anywhere. Nice salad and the short rib ragú was so very delicious! With a sizable portion of short rib. Highly recommend. Nice wines and cocktails also

    Excellent food and wine menu. Food is terrific and a great value for what you get. Steaks are the best in the area. Intimate setting, don’t bring young children if they’re going to misbehave and ruin other patrons evenings.

    A trip to the Del Bar is always high on our expectation list. Though we were there on Mother's Day and did receive a comp glass of champagne, it was also our 67th Anniversary celebration. The server acknowledged that on seating but when I innocently requested a small comp dessert for my wife he was flabbergasted and quickly gave us the dessert menu. Kinda bush league for a restaurant with those credentials.

    Had a wonderful mother's day dinner at the Del Bar last night - this restaurant never disappoints. My son had Salmon Oscar and crab cakes gave it 5 stars. My husband and I both had the boneless ribeye and they were cooked to perfection.... the Old Fashions were the real deal and us Mom's also received a free glass of champagne which was a nice touch....... one of our favorite special occasion supper clubs!

    I was so excited to come here and I’m not someone who complains. Stuffed Mushrooms were great. The Tempura Asparagus had so much potential but the asparagus was woody and not well prepared. I ordered the Ribeye 16oz; was excellent and prepared as ordered. The Demi Glacé, sadly, was extremely salty so I don’t recommend it. Love the mashed potatoes. My friend got the Prime Rib. Was excellent. My biggest complaint: the cleanliness of the wine glasses. I understand this is a busy steakhouse in a tourist area, but both myself and my friend had very clear lip/lipstick marks all around the rim of our glasses when we held them to the lights, so it’s obvious someone wasn’t wiping the rims after they came out of the dishwasher. Or before. We didn’t want to waste the wine so we just cleaned the glasses ourselves and carried on. Our waitress was lovely and checked in on us often. The ambience is beautiful, but this doesn’t have your typical Wisconsin supper club vibe if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s definitely more of a steakhouse. I felt like the dishes should have had more “oomph” for the experience that you’re paying for, but I did enjoy my time overall.
