   Everything was wonderful! Our server was so friendly and interesting, and really made the evening special. We both had the mahi and it was delicious!

   We had a table for two on the patio by the water. It was a romantic setting and our service couldn’t have been better. I wish I could remember the name of our server because she was informative, friendly and also professional. The snapper dish was the best meal we have here so far! They also bring a lovely focaccia bread to the table. You won’t regret dining here. Worth the price!

   The worst meal we encountered on our vacation. Tried to order wine (big mistake we know). Tried two different Italian reds that were both so over they should have been used as vinegar. Two of us ordered snapper and were served dry bland halibut. Our sauces and sides that were on the menu weren’t even served with the dish. The waitress questioned us when we asked for them as if we were wrong. Service was slow and came with a side of attitude. Do not recommend eating here with so many better places on the island. We were staying at the hotel and lazy that night. Big mistake!

   Quiet night when we visited. Rain may have kept people away, or the restaurant may just be hard to find (deep inside Alaia resort). Service was quick, friendly, well delivered. Adult drinks good. Food was a split decision, I would say good-not-great, and hotel-priced, so not great value for money. I would not avoid The Deck, but would not go out of my way to go there, either.

   Sitting on the gazebo on the deck was magical and the food was so delicious. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and very professional. Overall, a wonderful experience!

   We visited The Deck on a Saturday night after a long, exhausting travel day. We chose an outdoor table. You could see the ocean and feel the breeze from where we sat. There was a jazz saxophonist named Richard playing. He played a number of jazz standards and old school jams in the style of Kenny G. That immediately lifted our spirits and put us in a good mood. There were four of us and each ordered something different but everything was delicious. The drinks were great too. We’ll be back at the end of the week.

    Best Seafood Rosotto ever & was nice to be able to speak without shouting to all 6 people we were with! We’ll definitely be back!
