Great location. We went for dinner before Chicago Theater. Tables are close. Noise is high but a great atmosphere. Service was excellent. The Parker rolls with Boursin are fantastic! I had short ribs which were ok. Pretty tough. I would order something different if I went again

Great place for a preheater dinner in Chicago’s Theater District. Service was wonderful and food was great. After dinner, it’s just a short stroll to most of Chicago’s Theater venues

The service was very good friendly and attentive. Personally I found the lunch menu limiting. We opted for a Protein Bowl with blackened chicken and the Midwest Salad. We both found them a bit underwelming in flavor. The vinegarette could use more acid and the small amount of brick cheese didn't add enough to the quantity of the entree. The food was good, just doesn't intice me to try more.

Great waiter always adds to the evening as he did at Dearborn. Varied menu with interesting choices. Everyone in the group loved their food. Serving of food was fast and efficient by the staff. Very much enjoyed the pre-theater dinner.

Our server was hands down the best server I have ever had at any restaurant! They are attentive and make sure everything is correct and filled for you. The food is definitely worth everything you’ll pay it’s good quality food

Happily, I come to the Dearborn with some frequency. This time, two in our party of three had the soup which they declared outstanding. All of us had the ice cream which was, as always, superb. I am careful when placing my order to find out what the ice cream flavors are that day as it affects my entree selection. Life is short, one has to at least plan for dessert first.

Enjoyed lunch very much. Our server was friendly and well informed; his advice was spot on. The food was very good, perfect temperature and well seasoned. Did not feel rushed at all, but quite timely. I have enjoyed Dearborn before and will continue to frequent this restaurant.

It took 15 min to get our cocktail. It was 5:15 on a Wen. Ordered the mezzanine plate appetizer. It came with 1 pita and very soupy dips. The pita had a cinnamon taste. We were told it was an African spice. We asked for a second pita without the spice. They charged us 2.00 more than the 20.00 cost of this dish. My husband had the fish and chips, which he said was over cooked. I got the short ribs which was sliced thin, and very tough, more like skirt steak. The sauce was a Japanese spicy flavor. Fries were $8 more and cold. I did enjoy the band and the waiter brought us dessert to celebrate our anniversary.

A very enjoyable meal and wonderful service. The steak tartare and bone marrow starter was especially delicious. Would go back just to eat that again. Server was personable, knowledgeable, and efficient.

The food is somewhat pricey. We had a party of 4 and we all ordered hamburgers which is one of cheapest things on the menu. A lot of choices are eclectic, but none of us wanted to try them because of the price. You spend more money than you wanted and take a chance. The waiter was phenomenal and the rest of the staff was very accommodating and on top of things. Good experience overall!

The service was perfect. Timely, attentive, without being pushy. Senior management stopped by twice and were thankful. The food was impeccable. Had tickets for MJ across the street at the Nederlander Theater, so it made it easy to make it to the show on time.

Once again the Dearborn gave us an exceptional dining experience after having been to Block 37 for a movie. Vanessa our server was delightful and very knowledgeable about the menu. I always appreciate that one of the managers came by our table. Greg made us feel like valued and regular customers. Again, kudos to all at the Dearborn!!!

The burrata appetizer was fantastic, rest of the food was very mid. I wanted to order the Wellington burger, but my server advised against it as the burger inside is apparently often extremely rare to the point of “almost raw”? Not sure why they have a dish on the menu that can’t be executed in an edible manner. Instead I ordered the ‘whole block’ steak sampler and while most of the cuts were fine to good, the short rib was very over marinated. The scallion salad was the best thing on the plate. My friend had the mezze plate appetizer & it was ok. Nothing special. He had the Rohan Duck for an entrée & said it was also just ok. Small portions. I don’t think the value was there for the money. Ambience was nice enough, service very rushed.

Great place to eat in the Loop whether you are going to the theater or not. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the Parker House rolls, Fish and Chips or the Wellington Burger. Good beer & cocktails. Our server, Patrick was excellent.

Outstanding service by Nickos where he gave great recommendations and we had outstanding ceviche. The arugula and prosciutto pizza was super delish and hubby devoured the burger Wellington. Good wine selection and we had fab evening! Will be back
