Pan Roasted Mussels
indian curry-coconut broth, cilantro, roasted bell peppers, grilled bread
The Dearborn is a top-rate bistro, run by an excellent management team. They keep the menu changing seasonally. The customer service is the best in the Loop. It's also always clean and safe. I highly encourage everyone to get back to The Dearborn as soon as possible.
Great food and great service. Amy the owner stopped by and chatted with us. The Dearborn Meze plate was awesome. I had the porcelet which was so good, my companion had the paella (his first) and loved it. I’ll be back.
Great lunch at the Dearborn. Highly recommend the fish and chips, the burger and the icecream.
Good handy after play
Great for pre theater
The Dearborn is the best restaurant in the theater district by far. The food and drinks are tasty and the service is always friendly and professional.
Great server! Awesome food!
The owners are amazing
We went for brunch and had the bone marrow and soft scrambled eggs as well as the burger. Both were fantastic. Highly recommended.
Portions were large but delicious. Wait staff was courteous and attentive. Space was beautiful and charming.
The service was out of this world. Every restaurant needs to take serious notes about their service. The food portions could be better.
Our server was amazing. He made absolutely perfect recommendations off the menu as well as tips on where else to go in town. Highly recommend this place
A group of us working on a community project met for lunch recently, and what a treat! Beginning with where we were seated as it was a bit more private and allowed for clear communication between us! The service was consistent, professional and very present. Finally and most importantly, the food was marvelous. The seafood chowder was nuanced and hardy, we had it with milk bread- a delicacy! The chicken soup with udon noodles was hearty and delicious. Finally, the salads were rich in proteins, plentiful and delicious as well. Coffees and teas were all plentiful and the teas were a variety. Can’t wait to return!
After seeing such strong reviews prior to going here, I have mixed feelings about this place. One the one hand the ambiance is very good and the service in our section was outstanding - kudos to the team here and especially Micheal. Some of the food was very good - the ceviche was fresh, tasted great and had great flavor, the charred brussel sprouts were well made. On the other hand the famous fish & chips had great crust and fries but the fish itself was overdone and dry and very thick single piece and some of the other food was meh - which shouldn't be the case for the prices here. The non-alcoholic drinks we tried were also quite good. Although it was a good night thanks to the ambiance and service and some good food, between the relatively small menu, the food and the prices - I won't be back soon. That said, if you know exactly what you eat here, it can be a great experience for all the things that work well. We didn't try any alcoholic beverages - it may be a great place for that as well.
The server was well versed and knowledgeable. Very friendly and I appreciated his attentiveness.
I would definitely go back to the Dearborn. The food was excellent, my drink was just okay. The brussel sprouts are fabulous, and they were hit. I had the fish and chips, and everything served on the plate was gone.
I would definitely return.
Always my go to place in the Loop, never disappoints
Brunch rush left service to be desired. We had eggs benedict and one egg was hard boiled. Additionally I order the Berger with fries and I received the wrong kind of fries. The apple cider donuts were excellent.
The food and service was excellent
Great place to dine and very close to the theater we were seeing a show at.
Amazing food and service!
Food was fabulous. Michael was our waiter and he was just fabulous!!!
Todo muy bien grs
Civilized respite from the chaos of the loop. Limited by solid menu.
Dearborn never fails to deliver. We often come here before seeing a play as it is so conveniently located in the theatre district. I’ve tried many of their lunch entrees and have always been pleased. We started off with a Bloody Mary and had their delicious shrimp and grits.
Amazing space, service, and drinks -- plus food is excellent. Second time and will definitely come back.
The brussel sprouts are AMAZING! The service is incredible and just right for pre-theater going.
Food was pretty good but a little limited selection for main courses.
Great food and great service. Our waiter was fantastic!
Young man who served us was awesome!!
The food was amazing-- especially the glazed chicken!!!
Great selection at bar -- wished more small plate selection.
My only complaint was the lighting. Difficult to read menu.
Otherwise, everything was perfect. Loved the food and service.
We chose to dine at The Dearborn for the first time because it was rated well and it is across from the Nederlander Theater where we were to watch Donna Summer, the musical. Our servers were great! The paella was a hit as 3 out of 8 ordered it. We didn’t know that we could have our parking validated so that was a plus! Definitely coming back here to dine.
Never eaten breakfast at Dearborn before. Highly recommend it! Generous portions and interesting combinations. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent service. Good food. Convenient for theatre. Thoughtful and kind gesture of birthday candle and cake slice. Manager stopped by our table to make sure all was ok. Very nice.
Wonderful service. Excellent food. As always, a delightful experience.
The food was delicious! The server was terrific
Great food and even better service! We went before a musical and weren't rushed and had time to enjoy!
