Great service. Greg was
The food was amazing! The general manager came and spoke to us and asked about our evening. It was perfect !
We had a great pre-show dinner at The Dearborn. The service was fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised by the slice of cake with a candle for our Dad’s birthday. All four of us enjoyed a terrific meal. We are making The Dearborn our go for dinner before a show.
Amazing food and environment!!
I’m the area for a performance. The Dearborn is near the theater. So glad we had reservation! Quite crowded for a Wednesday. Seating shortly after we arrived! Drinks were unique and very good. Small plates and appetizers were excellent. Entrees were outstanding! Service was excellent.
Food was excellent, service very good, ambiance great, had a window booth prices a bit high, but that's to be expected in downtown Chicago. Highly recommend The Dearborn.
Brought my team here for a business lunch. They were very accommodating, our server was great, food came out quickly, all around very positive. I wish there were a better selection of salads, there’s only one & the description isn’t very good. Otherwise it’s a great place, thanks!
One of my Top 5 loop restaurants. Perfect location for after work, pre theatre, weekend fun.
Food was excellent! Server, Joshua, and all staff were awesome-so helpful and accommodating! We visited from
Milwaukee and would return to eat there again! Loved the view from our window seat!
Very welcoming and great food! Perfect for a lunch meeting. My colleagues and I all had various sandwiches : Curry Chicken BLT, Veggie Dagwood and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with upgraded truffle fies on the side (SO DELICIOUS). We also tried the specialty sodas and they were a great alternative to my typical order of water. Waiter was attentive and warm. One of the owners/managers went around the tables to check in on people as well which was suprising given the busy lunch rush and it was appreciated.
My friend and I loved our meals (my shrimp and grits were divine, she loved her curried chicken BLT) and I appreciated that they treated my friend to a birthday dessert.
Absolutely loved The Dearborn! Everyone was great!
The food and service were amazing. Highly recommend!
The brunch was delish. The Trio was awesome. The drinks were simply fabulous. Mmmmm, the Daley Manhattan
We chose The Dearborn because it’s near the Chicago Theatre. The food was delicious and service was great.
Atmosphere was wonderful and cozy. Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Food was excellent and came to the table quickly. Most negative point was the noise level very high.
Our waiter, Josh, was fantastic. The owner was very friendly. All the food was great (chive bread, chowder, Brussels sprouts), but the mussels were extremely chewy and overcooked. Service was outstanding.
My mom visited me
The staff was amazing. Everyone was warm, friendly and professional. The ambiance and location was fantastic. I would be happy to return here if not for the food. The fried chicken was ok at best. The french toast was really a dry cinnamon roll. The scrambled eggs were similar to the rubbery ones you can find at a fast food drive through.
The chef made a special vegan dinner just for us and hand delivered it! He came out, said hello, and described the dish! We come here often and its always great!
We have been to the Dearborn many times and have had an amazing experience each time. The food is always outstanding and we cannot get enough of the Mezza platter! Service is always outstanding regardless of how busy they are. The gentleman we had the other day had a great personality and did just an outstanding job!
The seasonal Gluhwein was quite a treat. Hope it stays on the bar menu through the winter months.
This is a great place for a business lunch, the service and food are great. Lots of choices on the menu - all are excellent!
Food was great and service was fine.
Love their food and ambiance.
Second time I have been here. I really like the place. Great fries! Seafood chowder was also good.
Finally, good food in the theater district! Woo hoo!!
Arrived for reservation 1 hour early, checked in and asked if it would be possible to get seated early. The hostess did not give an answer to the question and only said I have you checked in. So we stood in the corner for 1 hour waiting. If we knew that there was not a possibility we would have left and returned. As we stood in the corner waiting there were several tables of 4 available. Sunday they only serve brunch and dinner, we were seated at 2:30, so dinner wasn't available and brunch seemed a little late. The $12.00 Peach Bellini was nothing special. Ordered Burrata as a starter, the waiter asked if we would like bread with it, we stated yes! 4 slices arrived and we were charged a $1.00. Buffalo Chicken sandwich was just OK. The chicken patty was very thin in comparison to roll it was served on. It does state "thinly pounded" just maybe too thinly pounded. 2 other guests ordered the burger and seemed pleased. One guest ordered the salmon platter to be told they were out. The second option was mushroom and brie omelet which was also satisfactory, Waiter was attentive. I would come back and try dinner, but definitely will not arrive early.
Great food and service. Been here a few times and looking forward to going back soon.
Food was very delicious, but drinks were served very slow and our server would disappear for long periods of time. The live music was a nice touch for brunch, something unexpected and quite soothing.
Great weekend brunch prior to a matinee show. Tasty cocktails and very friendly service.
Food and service was fantastic. Value was good.
Noisy but emergetic
Great food, atmosphere, and service! Look forward to eating there again.
I have been to The Dearborn several times, but this was my first time for brunch. It was fantastic! I had the bone marrow and eggs, and it was delightful! My daughters had the french toast and pancakes, along with the freshly made apple soda, and they were thrilled. Our server was excellent. Highly recommend!
No wonder it is ranked the way it is. Even seemingly simple fairs like salad surprised us with the variety of clearly fresh ingredients. We were there for breakfast and will surely return for dinner
Manager reseated to a window booth per our request
Incredible meal. They take country recipes and present them on a savory, upscale way. Don't miss the chicken fried steak. The apple donuts for dessert were incredible. Too many flavors going on in the banana cake, and it was dry so maybe skip that. Other than that, my only complaint was the wall booth seating, which often means you'll be stuffed next to others like a sardine with little elbow room or space for an intimate conversation. But it wouldn't prevent us from returning.
Our second visit, and it was even better than the first. Love the cocktails - the Old Fashioned is just great! Did not want to eat heavy as it was the day after Thanksgiving, so we opted for the seasonal salad - one of us dded shrimp and the other added salmon. It was very tasty - a great blend of flavors and not overly dressed. Tony was our waiter and did an excellent job. Definitely a keeper on our list.
We had an extremely knowledgeable, kind and superb server.
