Always my go to place in the Loop, never disappoints
Brunch rush left service to be desired. We had eggs benedict and one egg was hard boiled. Additionally I order the Berger with fries and I received the wrong kind of fries. The apple cider donuts were excellent.
The food and service was excellent
Great place to dine and very close to the theater we were seeing a show at.
Amazing food and service!
Food was fabulous. Michael was our waiter and he was just fabulous!!!
Todo muy bien grs
Civilized respite from the chaos of the loop. Limited by solid menu.
Dearborn never fails to deliver. We often come here before seeing a play as it is so conveniently located in the theatre district. I’ve tried many of their lunch entrees and have always been pleased. We started off with a Bloody Mary and had their delicious shrimp and grits.
Amazing space, service, and drinks -- plus food is excellent. Second time and will definitely come back.
The brussel sprouts are AMAZING! The service is incredible and just right for pre-theater going.
Food was pretty good but a little limited selection for main courses.
Great food and great service. Our waiter was fantastic!
Young man who served us was awesome!!
The food was amazing-- especially the glazed chicken!!!
Great selection at bar -- wished more small plate selection.
My only complaint was the lighting. Difficult to read menu.
Otherwise, everything was perfect. Loved the food and service.
We chose to dine at The Dearborn for the first time because it was rated well and it is across from the Nederlander Theater where we were to watch Donna Summer, the musical. Our servers were great! The paella was a hit as 3 out of 8 ordered it. We didn’t know that we could have our parking validated so that was a plus! Definitely coming back here to dine.
Never eaten breakfast at Dearborn before. Highly recommend it! Generous portions and interesting combinations. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent service. Good food. Convenient for theatre. Thoughtful and kind gesture of birthday candle and cake slice. Manager stopped by our table to make sure all was ok. Very nice.
Wonderful service. Excellent food. As always, a delightful experience.
The food was delicious! The server was terrific
Great food and even better service! We went before a musical and weren't rushed and had time to enjoy!
Love the restaurant decor and ambience. We were greeted by friendly staff and were showed to our table immediately. Our table was very clean, cozy chairs and nicely arranged. Our server was pleasant and made a great wine suggestion based in the food we ordered. We had a late reservation after a theater play and ordered mainly salads and appetizers which was no problem at all. Our waiter again was most accommodating. The food was arranged in a very pretty way and made deliciously. Some ingredients were new for us but very well integrated in more traditional dishes and made the experience more exciting. Again when we ask our waiter to tell us about those ingredients he was happy to do so whiteout an ounce of condescension. Overall, we loved the place, the service and the food. Will strongly recommend!
Great for dinner and drinks before a show
Although the menu is not large the food is very good !
Great service, great food!
Brunch, lunch or dinner this place never disappoints.
We came here on Valentine’s Day prior to a show at the
Nederlander Theater across the street. Everything about our experience was outstanding. The host that seated us answered some questions we had about cocktails and then saw to it themselves to our drink order. Both the old fashioned and Manhattan were made with the drip bourbon. Our waitress was such a character and so knowledgeable about the menu. She gave wonderful recommendations for our orders. Now the food.....nothing short of amazing. We started with the shrimp and octopus ceviche. A great starter, so fresh and light with a little bit of fennel and citrus fruits. We both had the special which was perfectly prepared skate with a delicious cream sauce, a fava bean filled pasta and purple potatoes. If the skate was on the menu every day I would have a hard time being convinced to eat anything else. It was just that good. We both had dessert which was outstanding. My husband ordered the special valentines tiramisu which I’m kicking myself for not taking a picture of before we plowed into it. Not a traditional tiramisu but made with strawberry and decorated with edible gold flakes. I ordered the chocolate caramel dessert which was rich and delicious and just perfect for someone that “needs” chocolate. Also, timing of our meal was great. They were mindful of our theater tickets and paced the meal without making us feel rushed. I can’t wait to come back here. We made a point of telling the general manager how wonderful everything was.
great food. great environment. great service. tables were a bit close to one another, but over all a great experience!
We had an excellent experience at The Dearborn. The service was great, not too overbearing but always there when you needed them and everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful, be adventurous and ask the server for their recommendations, as some items are seasonal and some are standards. Make a reservation, even during the week, because they get pretty busy located right by the theaters.
Food and service is always great! The fish and chips are delicious!
Nice dinner, nice ambiance, great service, and in great proximity for shows at the local theaters.
You guys do a terrific job-keep up the good work.
Great spot to catch up with a good friend. Staff was beyond helpful, making sure we matched beverages to the menu and checked in regularly. Had a great table and the owner came by to make sure we were in good hands. Great experience all around - I’ll be back often.
The burger was delicious as I had it before. But it came out not as I requested it. The drink came out towards the end of our meal and we had to request it. The paella we got was also not very warm and well done so that was disappointing. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and food quality. I have been there before and it was excellent do decided to bring another friend, but was pretty disappointed with this experience.
Great place for a business lunch. Booths are private and quiet
I would highly recommend the Dearborn. My family and had brunch at the loop restaurant before seeing a play at the Goodman. The ambiance was delightful, the staff was extremely friendly/professional and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. There was live music playing, a great drink menu and we received a free dessert for one of our birthdays. We will 100% go back!
Very attentive waiter and staff at the table. At the bar however, was a different story. We can only assume that the bar tender thought we were tourists and not regulars (residents/ frequent diners at Dearborn) but he was extremely rude and condescending. Ultimately never took our drink orders as we were early for our reservation and were looking to have a pre dinner cocktail.
Nice ambience. The food was fine, nothing special. We had the fish and chips. I had a glass of wine, which was an extremely small pour. Could not believe I was charged for a glass of wine and it was only a few sips at the bottom of a glass.
I stopped in for a late lunch. Enjoyed a new item on the menu, the halibut fish and chips - delicious. Server was great too!
The Dearborn never disappoints! One of my favorite restaurants in the Loop.
