   The service was horrible. Just getting our cocktails took over 15 min and the restaurant was extremely slow. I had to reserve our group with a Credit Card and had called to confirm we could have separate checks upon arrival and this was not the case. Our waiter did not want to take the time to separate it. Food was Ok but nothing to write home about. This is a one and done.

   There was no host or hostess to seat us, we had to flag down a server. When the host was called he insisted on literally walking us around the world to a seat near the kitchen door in a near empty restaurant. When we pointed to a booth, he became annoyed. We insisted on the booth, “FINE” he said with an attitude. I asked could you wipe the table with visible crumbs, he said no, and insisted we get up and once again go to a table, way in the back….where no one could see us…we looked at each other and said “Do we really want to eat here ?”. I think we were dressed like everyone else on a Sunday afternoon and one of us was Latino just like the host, so refusing to act like a “Karen “, we left. It became embarrassing when he started yelling “ What’s the matter, come back “, we didn’t. I’ve been to way too many restaurants around the world, for this nonsense.

   Overpriced and under-seasoned food. Open table wants me to write more, but that’s really all that needs to be said. I won’t ever be coming back, but feel free to make up your own mind.

   We had an anniversary dinner here and the receptionist was very accommodating with our seating request. We got our choices of seating as request, but the special anniversary treatment stops there. The cocktails were good. The food was excellent! We would go back for dinner again, but not for a special occasions.

    This menu is confused and lacks a clear direction. There's everything from guacamole to Indian to burgers. Food was really lackluster.

    Mixed drinks were delicious. Service was good. Ambiance near the bar is nice. Food was good as well. We had a seafood tower, extra oysters, a burrata, their signature deconstructed beef wellington and Korean wings. Overall good experience.

    Nelson and Ana were incredibly attentive and accommodating to my friend and I having a 50-year friendship anniversary after 3 years of pandemic idling, allowing us to stay for over 3 hours. The place is impeccable and the food was artful and delicious . Will come back, highly recommend!

    We visited GSK during WDC Winter restaurant week. The food was very good, presentation excellent. What restaurant should improve are little things that provide guest with even better overall experience. The furniture, especially tops of tables are scratched so they look dirty. There is nowhere to hang coats, 3 hangers in the whole restaurant. The seats in boots are to low for smaller people. The noise level is preventing any nice conversation.

    Delicious brunch foods with unique takes on more traditional and reasonably priced in a nice atmosphere. Mushroom paratha, shakshuka, chicken falafel waffle, Korean wings, and steak and eggs frites all good. Went as a group and everyone was pleased with their meals.

    We had the most spectacular sushi and sashimi dinner in celebration of my husband's dinner. The tuna and salmon were like butter, the rice was prepared perfectly, and we loved enjoying the DC Decadence drink as part of our dessert! The meringue dessert on the menu surprised me-- it was light and fluffy, like a cloud! Everything was made to perfection! We will return!

    Leo was very accomodating in ensuring that our NYE menu was suited for me and my family and we had an excellent evening. The staff were very professional and attentive, the ambience was perfect and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning for the next special occasion and highly recommend this restaurant to others.

    One of the best meals my wife and I had. This nice restaurant offers a menu that includes asian, indian and european dishes. Although it may look strange at first glance that a single restaurant can handle such a diverse menu, Gerrard Street Kitchen does it beautifully. The four dishes we had (grilled oysters, indian beef tacos, deconstructed beef Wellington and Shrimp/scallops risotto) were all excellent. In addition to this amazing food, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The level of noise was perfect. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes by DC. You will not be disappointed!! I look forward to my next visit in DC to come back and enjoy more good time at Gerrard Stree Kitchen.

    Nice variety on the menu, food tasty and fresh. Our group had Beef Wellington, Paratha Tacos, Korean Wings, oysters, and more. Everything was delicious. The desserts were fantastic, Crunch Bar and Floating Island. Service and staff were friendly and efficient, beautiful room, definitely worth a visit.

    Gerrard Street Kitchen has the best sushi + sashimi I've ever had in DC (and I was born/raised here). This was my 2nd time dining here, the fish is the "meatiest" and freshest I've had, the sushi rice is prepared perfectly, and the staff is so welcoming/accommodating. I'm very impressed and will return! Thank you!

    Everything was delicious. The tempura, the guacamole, the steak. This was a really lovely hidden gem that more people should know about and support. Hard to find quality restaurants that do everything well. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
