What a wonderful find on the Upper East Side. Great place, friendly staff and the food was delish!! Both my daughter and I said we will definitely return!
Way too noisy. Food is good and interesting
Enjoyed the food, the server was hovering a little much (but she was very nice), but it was so loud that I had a hard time hearing when my date was speaking.
My birthday brunch with my girlfriends! We had a great time, food beverage and service were all great.
Their letter rating was not posted. At the time we went they were rated B. The bathroom was beyond filthy. The door was held closed with (literally) a rubber band. The steak ordered medium came out raw. It was also super loud. Would not return.
The brunch was delicious. The service was just right. The noise level - even for brunch and not packed with patrons - was super loud. Perhaps some sound/noise solutions can be introduced to lower the volume.
I totally recommend this spot. Beautiful ambiance, delicious cocktails & food and also the greatest service. what more can a girl gang ask for?.
Excellent food & ambiance. Would highly recommend for a brunch date with your best girlfriends or a cute date spot.
Food is quite good and am glad they are mixing up the menu on a seasonal basis. Will go back again to see what other choices they present!
Brunch with family
Our service overall was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive, and did a great job handling our large group!
I ordered the breakfast quinoa bowl, which was a tad small, but delicious.
My only criticisms is that the brunch was overpriced. I am no cheapskate when it comes to brunch, but you could go somewhere else just as good for bottomless food and booze, for the same price, with far more choices.
Atmosphere good. Food indifferent Food needs improvement Would return for driks
Great ambiance. It was much less crowded than usual with the weather but over enjoyable and will go back. Food was very good.
Best food I've had in a while.
Service was attentive though felt a little rushed.
Really nice vibe to the place. Cocktails were great, and music was stellar.
We had a few blips with the food, but the manager came over, explained how they rotate their menu seasonally, and that it was the first night with the new menu. They were eager to hear the bad as well as the good, and corrected the food and resent it to us. They offered us compensation for their mistakes and in the end we still had a very enjoyable evening out at Daisy. I will give it a second chance for sure.
Went here for brunch with a friend. Great cocktails, food, and service. Would definitely come back.
Good place but more a bar than a restaurant , brunch menu is good and food quality is good as well
food was freezing... cappucino wasn't really very good...
Staff is so friendly and great service!
Staff were super friendly. Food was good and the atmosphere excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Service was exceptional. Food was okay-one persons meal (a SALAD) didn’t come with others- guest waited 10 min for her meal. Music was way too loud. We asked server if it could be lowered and a few minutes later the volume went up!
Puzzled why this restaurant gets such high ratings on OT. Went for brunch - very disappointing. Food wasn’t very good - a variety of egg dishes and waffles. Very loud, difficult to have a conversation at a table for 4. Won’t be going back.
The staff is exceptionally friendly. Have been for dinner several times, the food and drinks have been consistently great.
The ambience of The Daisy is relaxed and is more in the style of a bistro or a cafe rather than a fine dining establishment. The servers are extremely polite and responsive. It is a neighborhood gem.
The Daisy has consistently good food. Every time I have dined there the quality of the food was the talk of the table considering the price points, which are quite reasonable. Salmon is an easy dish to prepare in a very unexciting way, but the salmon dish on their dinner menu is prepared in a well thought out, well composed way that marries all the flavors on the plate rather than presenting the salmon as one part of a separate three part meal of a protein, a carbohydrate, and a vegetable.
It would be nice if their menu selections for dinner were more in number. The chef might want to consider that, for diners who do not eat meat, another fish dish or perhaps a vegan dish could be added.
We live across the street....and cannot wait to go back! We had a wonderful experience due to the great staff.
Good for big groups, good with kids!
Go for a drink but skip the awful food. They destroyed the salmon (twice) and the steak was 90% fat and 10% salt. The staff was apologetic, though, as if they'd been through this far too many times.
This was my third time back at The Daisy for brunch, and it was a great experience as it was the times before. I requested the front window table when making my reservation and was delighted that the staff fulfilled my request! Brunch here is always a relaxed affair, which makes it great for catching up with friends. The noise level is low and the staff are friendly and don't rush you out the door. The only downside is that the iced coffee is canned, which seems odd when a place serves brunch. I haven't had dinner or alcoholic drinks here yet, so I can't comment on that. But overall, I'm fond of this place and will definitely be back.
Great people. Good food. A little loud
Horrible hidden step at from is extremely dangerous. Management - fix it immediately. I have seen people fall to the floor 3x. You are very irresponsible not to fix that dangerous step.
Nice to see a change in the menu with more options. Food is good. Simple but quite tasty. Nice wine selection as well.
The food was not as well prepared as it should have been. Eggs were over cooked and waffles were undercooked. Service was slow
I thought the decor was so nice and romantic. The set up of candles was creative. The place had a nice feel and ambiance. I wish the menu had more options but I am a picky eater.
Great service! The food was tasty - try the mussels and dip the warm fresh bread into the broth it was delicious. Had bread pudding for desert. Overall very nice dining experience.
This restaurant has decent cocktails, food, and service, but is undermined by an extremely loud atmosphere.
Came to The Daisy with my family before spending the day in the city. The service was impeccable, the restaurant was very clean and had a nice vibe to it and the food was amazing. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
I absolutely love this place! We went for brunch and we each tried something different and every single option was delicious. The hostess and the servers were super friendly and attentive and the cocktails were creative.
We came in for bottomless brunch and they were slow with serving us and then served two carafes with extremely watered down drinks. We understand not wanting to be over-served, but we had to remind them of when we started and they served us watered down drinks with 30 minutes left. To advertise as bottomless and then not serve us is false advertising. We will not be returning and will share our experience with others in the neighborhood.
Great food & service. We had a party of 10 & they were really accommodating. It was a bit slow in the restaurant when we arrived around 11am, but it definitely picked up & got louder once we left close to 1pm. Fun brunch spot. Would definitely go back for drinks or as a date spot too.
