Standing proudly in the middle of the village of Great Massingham, surrounded by fields but only a short drive from the stunning North Norfolk coast, The Dabbling Duck is the picture of the best of British country pubs.

Step inside the pub to a welcoming atmosphere, with a proper bar where locals gather to drink local ales, eat from our menus with dishes ranging from good casual pub classics to sophisticated seasonal dishes showcasing the very best of local produce.

Kitchen open from 8 am to 10am for breakfast and then from noon to 9 pm Monday to Saturday and 8 pm Sunday.

    Couples meal out lovely atmosphere. Local food and what we had was delicious. Eating out is always costly now but it never stops us ☺️

    Gorgeous pub set in a beautiful village. Great welcome, food really delicious, don’t have pudding, and the wine was super too. Highly recommend.

    Beautiful Sunday lunch. A favourite venue of ours in a pretty Norfolk village. Well worth a visit. And dog friendly too.

    We went as a table of 4 for steak night. All our steaks cooked as requested. Sides were excellent and we had great service too. Highly recommended

    The staff couldn’t be more helpful we had a small issue but it was dealt with so quickly and kindly thank you food was yummy

    Great pub, busy with a good vibe, the food was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly, all round one of the best pubs to visit in the Norfolk area

    Food very good. Imaginative with a variety of flavours and textures. Service excellent. Attentive with a nice sense of humour. Ambience fairly quiet on this visit.
