Standing proudly in the middle of the village of Great Massingham, surrounded by fields but only a short drive from the stunning North Norfolk coast, The Dabbling Duck is the picture of the best of British country pubs.

Step inside the pub to a welcoming atmosphere, with a proper bar where locals gather to drink local ales, eat from our menus with dishes ranging from good casual pub classics to sophisticated seasonal dishes showcasing the very best of local produce.

Kitchen open from 8 am to 10am for breakfast and then from noon to 9 pm Monday to Saturday and 8 pm Sunday.

Tables in the garden and barn are first come first served, serving pub classics and wood fired pizzas (Fridays and Saturdays). Dogs are welcome through out.

I had to add to our party and was accommodated without fuss. We were seated quickly, food was delicious and well priced and lots of it. Very nice pub.

Great menu for a Sunday meal. I had roast pork and all the trimmings. Wife had the vegetarian Sunday roast. Great portions and the gravy was to die for. Desert were delicious. Plenty of options of drinks and coffees. Service was second to none, couldn't do enough for you. My favourite place to stay in Norfolk.

Lovely village pub. Superb roast pork meal and the desserts were scrumptious! Recommended highly!

Ww had a very pleasant Father's Day meal here. Food was good and service was swift, notwithstanding they were busy.

Did not disappoint, a fabulous pub and dinner in a beautiful location. Our server was cheerful and really attentive. We look forward to visiting again!

The Duck would probably get our vote as the most beautifully sited pub in East Anglia. How can you beat its place by a huge green with duck ponds, a fine church, and assortment of very well cared for homes and businesses? Perfect! Once inside, we were met with smiling staff, which carried thru the service, the kitchen puts together tasty plates and has some fun dishes on the menu. I chuckled at the offered Old Bay chips with ranch - someone had been to the States recently. We'll stop by another time...
