We are family and dog friendly – we even have a dog station to keep our four legged friends happy! We are also lucky enough to have a playground attached to our beer garden.

We love The Cyder House and go often. We went yesterday for Father’s Day and although my roast was generally very nice. I had asked the waiter to make sure the gravy was on the side and it came out poured on almost everything but I said it’s fine as I didn’t want to waste everything and wait longer. The cauliflower cheese could do with tasting more cheesy and the sauce made thicker as it incredibly runny like the consistency of milk. We always find the staff friendly and helpful but yesterday we had a gentleman serving us who was very short and quite rude unnecessarily so. He could do with some more customer service training. We were sat in the bar area which was nice enough but generally I prefer to sit in the main restaurant. It was quite unbearably busy and loud but understand that was probably due to it being Father’s Day and nothing the Pub could have done with regards to this.

The server made a mistake with our order. When pointed out, they corrected it immediately with no fuss. Portions were generous. Food was delicious. We had a great time.

Four of us went for Sunday lunch and were extremely impressed with the service, waiting time and quality of food. All were five star. We will be returning! Sunday roasts were delicious and was very nice to see that they didn’t skimp on the meat - which a lot of places now do when they pile a roast into a tower! - this was not the case and we all really enjoyed it. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Lunch for 4 adults. We had 2 quiet, well-behaved dogs with us which the staff were happy to have anywhere in the restaurant. This is why we chose the Cyder House for our meal. All 4 of us had excellent food and service. I have intolerance to certain spices and the staff took great care to ensure that my menu choices were safe for me. We were impressed that 4 oz steaks were offered on the menu which is a perfect size for those of us who can't eat large meals. The steaks were very high quality and cooked to perfection. As we were eating with friends that we hadn't seen for quite some time, we lingered over our meal & were the last to leave. At no point did we feel pressured to finish and go. All in all, the food was delicious, the servings were just the right amount and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a great time at the Cyder House whilst visiting with some friends from Canada. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and we all had a great time. I would definately recomend this Pub.

We ordered chops that weren’t available so instead had the fish and chips which were really tasty. Enjoyable eve and staff very attentive and welcoming.
