   The food was ok but not worthy of the price in my opinion, however it was very nice to have plenty of gluten free options. If you have steak then any sides and sauce are extra to worked out very expensive for ‘ok’ food. My gf chicken burger was nice and fries were included in the price. My opinion is that an average of £60 per head is expensive when the food was ‘ordinary’. I would not return based on this experience. The service was really good so I did pay the ‘optional’ tip but don’t like the idea that it is put on the bill before asking.

   First time visiting York we came across this restaurant. It had a lot of great reviews and I believe it’s one of best restaurants on social media . The service was fabulous food was amazing . Cocktails were lovely , my partner had home craft larger. Lovely place to dine x

   Staff were good. Food different and visually well presented but not much substance and temperature. Lots of “ambience” but difficult to converse. Fortunately lots of other restaurants in York to try.

   Food are good, my ribeyes steak cooked to perfection but the cut was a bit on the tough side.

   Gulia our waitress was lovely! Unfortunately our table wasn’t ready on time, it took a while to take our orders and the sticky toffee pudding was cold so we asked for it to be taken off the bill. Food was exceptional though

   Fantastic experience. Great to see that all staff are completely trained and all know their Role & Responsibilities and help each other. The service was like being on a 5 star cruise.

   Unfortunately our meal was not at a standard to match the price paid, but we did get a 50% reduction for one sirloin steak that was particularly fatty. The standard is normally much higher in our previous experience.

    Considering the reputation this restaurant had the service was disappointing, the hostess was rude and unhelpful, and our waiter was fine but very slow service and nothing that really made our experience memorable for this right reason, won't be rushing back
