   If you have been to the leeds Cut and Craft and thinking about going to York , Think again! Absolutely no ambiance food cool not hot, not sure why the chef allowed the food to be served this way replacement poor too! I am so sorry that we didn’t go to the Ivy. Will definitely not go again! Please do not go unless you want you want to be disappointed!

   The restaurant is well decorated and a good atmosphere. Unfortunately the pork apt and the rib eye were not great. Rib eye grizzly and the pork stodgy and no taste! For the price would not return. They did compensate the steak with a glass of wine.

   We had a lovely evening here. Well worth the prices. Had 3 courses and cocktails. Food was amazing and staff very attentive.

   We came here for a pre-theatre meal. We ate off the al a carte menu. The service from start to finish was excellent and the meal was absolutely outstanding.

   Good food, lovely staff, good service, busy, but we were seated at our favourite table as I requested when booking. Can't ask for more than that! Already looking forward to our next visit.

   Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at cut and craft York, the food and wine was exquisite, and a particular standout was the attentive service of Plifford. I’ll be sure to make a return visit in the future.

   The service and vibe of this place was very good. I enjoyed the Pork Belly starter but my main of Sirloin Steak was disappointing. The steak was overcooked and the chips were best described as the scraps… I think I had 2 whole chips and unfortunately they were cold. Couldn’t fault the rectification as in the waitress removed the cost for the so called chips and offered a free dessert, so fair play they did try to resolve there and then. Shame the kitchen let the servers and restaurant down on this occasion.

    This was our second visit to Cut & Craft, food was excellent, service was also excellent, our server was Eleanor, she was very attentive.
