Housed in the restored 19th century Victoria Quarter, The Cut & Craft Leeds is a beautiful restaurant with historic features and a show-stopping central cocktail bar.

Open every day serving lunch and dinner, with brunch and roasts on the weekend, you can expect elegant interiors in a building rich with character and a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

Named 'Restaurant of the Year' at the Yorkshire National Business Hero Awards in 2023 and 2024, The Cut & Craft combines contemporary steak and seafood dishes with a premium list of locally-crafted drinks.

We have an extensive food menu all made freshly on site including our signature flat iron steak, prepared by our very own in-house butcher.

We also regularly host brunches and special events with brands like Whispering Angel, Moët & Chandon, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS and more.

    As always, delicious food and good wine selection. Waiter (Curtis) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wine list and made excellent food recommendations and wine pairing.

    Lovely evening. Great drinks & cocktails, delicious food in lovely surroundings all rounded off by the excellent service from the lovely Carissa. We were a family of 5 and Carissa was amazing we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for such a lovely all round experience and next time we’re back in Leeds this will be our go to

    I took colleagues from another country, one being my new boss, he and the rest of the party were very very impressed and insist we go again next time. The food is out of this world, the restaurant is very very nice and the staff and in particular our waitress were super nice and helpful. If you’ve never been it’s a must, you will not regret it.

    Visited on a Tuesday evening, so relatively quiet. However, from arriving at the front door, the staff were “on their game”. A fantastic setting, which our knowledgeable waitress told us all about. Including past occupants of the building, going back to 1910. No starter, but ribeye, mash and broccoli for main. The steak was pretty much perfect. The mash was a little stodgy, but edible. Washed down with a lovely bottle of Argentinian Malbec. I’ll suck it up on the mash front, as everything else was wonderful. Will certainly visit again.

    Our first dining experience here (normally eat at Harvey Nics or the Ivy). Our server was a delight and gave us a full account of the building's history when asked. Attentive and friendly service throughout. Our starters of wild mushrooms and tomato tartare were beautifully presented and lovely flavours. Husband very happy with his sea bass and I had a starter for a main of seafood tempura. Unfortunately, the chilli/pepper was scattered a little too liberally over the batter for me but the seafood itself was perfectly cooked and much enjoyed. Coffee very good. We will certainly return and look forward to working our way through a very tempting menu! Thank you to all staff and excellent kitchen team.

    We visited yesterday for my husbands birthday. The service was good, the atmosphere also good. My husband had the flat iron steak, which was delicious, my daughter had fish and chips which she really enjoyed. I opted for a Sunday roast. The vegetables were divine, particularly the hispi cabbage. When the meal arrived I was disappointed to only receive one slice of beef. The slice wasn’t particularly large either. I was more disappointed when the tables either side received their sharing platters which had 3 to four decent slices of beef on there along with belly pork and chicken. The platter does seem excellent value but feel that the single roast dish should be proportionate in size. The visit was enjoyable as always and would not put me off coming again, I would however, not order the single roast dinner again and opt for something else.
