   Great venue and service. Unfortunately my wife's steak had quite a lot of gristle in it, but the waitress kindly offered a replacement which was promtly served. This time we were sat just through the entrance. Having been before I would say the ambience is better if you are seated in the main area with a view of the bar and different levels to the building.

   My starter arrived tepid and also had mozzarella as its main ingredient which I do not like and that ingredient was not listed on the menu!!! It was listed as a truffle cream sauce with no mention of a lot of mozzarella which I found astonishing. By the time the ingredients list had been confirmed with the kitchen (the staff had no idea there was cheese in the started), everyone else had finished their starters so I missed out to allow the continuance of the meal. My fillet steak arrived and had clearly been sous-vide’d (which is fine) but had not been seared afterwards so looked very ‘meaty’ and wet. It tasted good but the presentation was glistening which isn’t a good look. We’ve had many very good meals before so it was a disappointing meal to say the least.

   Didn't have the best of starts. Welcomed in by staff at the entrance which was a pleasant surprise (gentleman opening the door and welcoming you) which we have not experienced before. But, the issues began when we were shown to the reservation waiting area. We was there for over 5 mins then, once at the table another 10 mins before we was even asked it we wanted a drink! For this kind of establishment, this rates it down. As the night went on, the service did improve. The food was well presented. I did not enjoy the starter as I thought I would try something new which, I found not to my taste which I don't blame the restaurant for. The main was good but not amazing as hoped. We had the Sunday roast. It did miss mash in my opinion, had too many partially roasted potatoes and not enough vegetables in my opinion. The desserts were great. My wife had the 24k chocolate cake which she really enjoyed and I had the biscoff chocolate shell which was nice. The coffee tasted burnt unfortunately however, each to their own. Had to wait over 15 mins after receiving the bill (I had to ask a member of staff to pay) before I got to pay which slightly downgraded the service. What really impressed with the service is the fact that 1. Staff did not ask how our food was which is REALLY annoying as, if my food had issues, the staff would know about it! 2. The staff offered to top up my wife's prosseco whilst she was eating which I found extremely good as she then did not need to worry about topping up mid meal. The food was a little overprice for what we got on most meals but, being this kind of place in the city centre, I'm not really surprised! One improvement they could make is ask customers if they want to sit next to the musician as we were placed at the closest table and could barely have a conversation due to the music. I would recommend this place and go back again.

   We went for Sunday lunch - it was a huge plate full of deliciousness! We were looked after by Matthew who is friendly & helpful. We all had the roast beef (extra gravy) - cooked to perfection. A couple of sides and a very reasonable bottle of red wine 🍷. The desserts were outstanding! A gorgeous live singer made it very relaxed & beautiful The only criticism was that the dinner got a little cool fairly quickly as it was a large plate full (no complaints) the plate could have been warmer to accommodate. We still ate up Definitely will be returning - it’s the prettiest restaurant in Leeds with lovely staff across the board.

   We ordered the Sunday lunch sharing platter for 2 and all the food was delicious. Our waitress for our meal was called Carissa. She was really friendly and polite and made us feel really welcome. Lovely service. The ambiance was great and the live singer was great, just right for Sunday lunch.

   Booked this for a Sunday roast and it was amazing! We loved it. Went for a chocolate shell dessert and it was one of the best desserts I have had in a very long time. Would definitely recommend.

   Nice place but the food let it down. I asked for a medium steak but it was over cooked. Husband ordered mussels in white wine and cream sauce was like warm and 1/4 of the mussels were not open. Overall lovely place and great service, great ingredients but the food was not great.

    The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and spotlessly clean , service was good , but could be better, especially when needing a drink always hard to catch someone’s eye,these are minor things though. Toilets are lovely also , now the food , my £30 sirloin steak was cooked to my liking but was very small in size and was full of fat and gristle making the dinner unpleasant,my Parmesan and truffle chips where good , they should be for £6.50 the portions again were small, dessert was a no good poor choice of desserts full stop , so opted for a cheese board with a good 12 cheeses to choose from , again the 3 pieces that arrived were small but lovely,was still hungry when I left here and with the bill coming to £161 between 4 off us wasn’t value for money it wasn’t,with 2 guest just having a main only and no starters, lovely experience for a birthday dinner but won’t go back not when there’s better restaurants to dine at in Leeds .
