It was really nice. We went for 2 years anniversary and they nicely brought dessert with a candle and left that on them.
Moreover the food is delicious and te jazz night if perfect for romance

We made our reservation on-line. However, when we arrived there was confusion - they didn’t realize wee were there for afternoon tea. Rather than disappoint us? They immediately found a way to accommodate us. And, the tea experience was truly lovely!

I have been to the Culver Hotel many times and have enjoyed it. My last visit for brunch was not in line in line with my usual experience. I made a reservation on Open Table which was cancelled when I arrived. The food took 40mins before we were served with no apologies. Our waitor mixed up my order and didn’t bring me the waffle I ordered. Due to the delays I just had the Kale Caesar I ordered. It wasn’t the best experience but I will be back. The ambience is great. This was definitely not one of their better days.

The culver hotel was fantastic. In addition to the food being fabulous, I had a great time listening to the jazz music. It made the ambiance so much better. I am hoping to come back very soon and hopefully I can do afternoon tea soon too.

Loved the setting. The dining room is beautiful. I felt like I was in an elegant home from the Victorian era without the musty smell. I love the remodel, it is stunning! In addition, the food was good, I only had soup and salad, but the salmon soup was hot and flavorful and the Ceasar salad was adequate, though I thought the dressing could use more lemon or vinegar, as it was little bland.
However, the pour service marred the experience. We had to beg for more water and the waiter disappeared for long stretches My son did not have a fork to eat his salad and we did not get one for most of the meal as there were no servers in sight.
I would go back in the hope that they start training their staff to be more attentive. It is a spectacular setting! An oasis of calm in the middle of Culver City.

Our only complaint this time were the drinks - this bartender somehow messed up the Dark and Stormy. It didn’t taste like ginger beer, and the drink just tasted off. We ordered 4 drinks and weren’t really satisfied with any.

Had a reservation, walked in and let the hostess know who claimed to say that she checked us off. Proceeded to seat us at the worst table in the middle of the main walk way between bathroom and hostess stand. Asked for any of the other tables that were visibly open and for same size party, was told they're reserved... I'm confused, I thought I had a reservation too, how is mine different?
After several attempts to change, they offered me one table not in middle of way, but directly in front of Concierge stand... So small that half my plates and glasses were on the ledge of the window. Again told that the others were reserved.
To top it off, I got an email today letting me know I didn't show up to my reservation, the waiter did what he could with the horrible other parts of the experience, but it was a complete waste of my evening and not worth the time. They need proper hosts and management here.

This is a small and lovely room with an interesting menu, but beware that Thursday is set for live music. The combo was talented, but so loud we could not engage in conversation. When we asked the manager if they could adjust their volume for the size of the room, we were told, "No. This is live music night." I don't see what they have to do with each other; we could have enjoyed both the music and the food. Instead, we cancelled our order and went to a small restaurant down the street. We cannot comment on the food because we never ate there.

Great dinner music. Very cozy atmosphere. Food was average for price. Service was nice, but kind of slow. Almost seemed understaffed. Biggest complaint was seated inside next to window with quite a few flies flying around (nearly 10).

This is a wonderful experience. We went for cocktails and a nosh. The cheese player is fabulous, this time we also ordered the fried calamari. The women at the table next to us had gotten an order and it was mouthwatering. When our order came it was deflated. It was less then half of the order delivered to the table next to us. Now you have to ask why was this. About 10 minuets earlier the hostess came to our table and announced that she had to have us leave with in the next hour because there was another party that had reserved the section of the hotel that included our table🤭
We figured this was their way of getting us out faster, give them less so they don’t spend more time eating. This was followed with our waiter asking if we wanted anything else 🤷🏻‍♀️ when we told him what the hostess said he was taken aback and said , oh no I will just move you to another table outside of the reserved area. Now this was the proper way to make us fell like valued customers. Cuddos to this very professional waiter

It's a lovely setting. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely afternoon. I'm a big fan of afternoon tea so I was looking forward to it. However, the scone was a bit dry and the sandwiches weren't that impressive. I was a bit underwhelmed. I am however looking forward to going back and having lunch as the meal looked really good.

Mini reunion for our MBA cohort. Reservations for 4 people made through open table. They accommodated the request to sit inside (it was a hot day). The food was delicious. Two of us ordered the “bottomless” mimosas. The server Maxwell decided to cut us off after 4 servings. Our group was not loud, we weren’t slurring our speech or spilling drinks. He felt uncomfortable serving us more. Soured the occasion at the end. But we crossed the street to a restaurant called Public School and finished our celebration. I’d come back - just not for mimosas.

It was quiet because it was July 4th, I had just finished work and was starving and in need of a drink. Greeted immediately by smiling hosts, brought to a table by the window, ordered drinks a Lavender collins for me and an old fashioned for my friend.
The beet salad and heirloom tomato salads were delicious, fresh bright flavors.
I ordered the mushroom tagliatelle and she had Bolognese. We ordered the bottle of Falernia Malbec for $36 which was a steal. The best Malbec I have tasted in a long time.
Dessert was banana foster and panna cotta .
Overall a success, we left happy and look forward to returning.
Oh and Jazz gave the place an intimate party atmosphere.

The wait service was abominable. We had to summon the waiter to order our lunch because he was spending time talking with another group and never gave our table a look when he walked by. We ordered desert which never came. We summoned a bus boy to go find our waiter because he had disappeared and because we had been waiting a 1/2 hour for our deserts. When the waiter finally showed up with the deserts, 1/2 of our party had had leave because they were now late.
