   Food and drinks were delicious! Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. He tried his best to make sure we were completely satisfied with everything and that we were. I forgot to get his name! Darn! Will definitely dine here again! Can't wait to try other things on the menu!

   Went to The Cuban to celebrate my mom’s birthday. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. They have definitely fallen off. The food was just okay. The waiter messed up on our orders several times. Drinks used to be great. They were mediocre at best. There was a leak in the ceiling. We had to move our seats down. They added a 20 percent gratuity to our bill. As a former bartender I have no problem paying gratuity and often pay more than most. However, a 20 percent gratuity for lackluster service is ridiculous. In addition, they added a credit card fee to the bill. I had to have them remove that since I paid in cash. This was once one of my favorite restaurants. So sad, I will not be returning again.

   The live entertainment was great and made for a festive environment but if you are looking for service, this isn't the place. Party of 10 and we never saw our waitress. Our food and drinks came sporadically, and the waitress was completely oblivious. Asking for a dessert menu was such an inconvenience that she only brought 1 menu for 10 people to share! Reservation was made saying we were celebrating 3 birthdays, and nothing was done, however the table next to us had a birthday celebration and they were brought balloons and desert with sparklers. Honestly a disappointing evening. In a location full of restaurants, the Cuban needs to step up their game.

   Upstairs music too loud but they moved us to ground level and it was perfect. Good food

   The last time we had gone they sat us upstairs where they have live music and it was so loud we couldn’t converse. Even downstairs the music is loud. The wait staff are nice and the food is good but if you want a relaxing night out, this may not be the place for you.

   The food was definitely worth the trip from New Jersey. Our server, Martin, was very attentive. I highly recommend this to all who want an excellent Cuban meal.

   We spent a quiet Easter at one of our favorite restaurants The Cuban of Bayside. Food and service were perfect.

    We were told that the special “protein platter” was enough for 5 people. It was actually enough for 8-10. They never mentioned the price, which was over 300.00. We were all upset about this.
