This stunning 14th century pub in the unspoilt village of Kinnerley offers beautifully prepared seasonal fare alongside delicious pub classics. Offering real ales from local breweries and a interesting winelist. If the sun is shining dine or enjoy a drink in the beer garden with its village green charm.

Warwick Kidd started his career as a part time pot washer at Ludlow's Michelin starred La Becasse under Head Chef Will Holland. His natural ability meant it wasn't long before he was starting to cook and his career soon blossomed. He moved away from Ludlow to gather experience which took him to France, where he cooked for 2 Michelin starred Jean-Luc Rabanel.

Zach Hermon's career started at the age of 15. He has worked at some of the country's most prestigious restaurants including Raymond Blanc's 2 Michelin starred 'Le Manoir aux quat saisons' and more recently 2 Michelin starred 'Moor Hall' in Lancashire - Winner of first place at The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards.

Had a great meal here at the Cross Keys. We went for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Everything was hot and beautifully presented and of course tasted amazing. Lots of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians. Great atmosphere and definitely on our list for a return visit.

Great independent pub with restaurant quality food. Lovely service. Highly recommend them for their steaks, which remain great value as well compared to other establishments. Nice selection of wines by the glass as well.

The food was good; the service was poor. We booked for 7pm and weren't seated at the table until 7.30. It was another 40 minutes before we had our first course. We had to ask for water.
