A gem of a village pub serving pizzas, artisan burgers, pub classics with great pints and playgrounds. Set in the North Herts village of Weston. Acres of beer garden, kids play areas, families, muddy boots and dogs very welcome in our bar area. Our beautiful Pavilion restaurant is open for all day for reservations Mondays through to Sunday.
Our normal pub garden benches will be available as usual on a walk-in basis for food from our outside kitchen!
Our patio area is now available for bookings to guarantee your table outside, you can also order from our full restaurant menu!

Food and service always good. Lovely pub garden/field. Nice low alcohol beer (Ghost Ship by Adnams) although much better when it’s on draught. The fish and chips is great and the kids love the pizzas.

Went to Cricketers Weston for Sunday Roast yesterday. It was good ,but not the best we've had and just felt it simply did not justify the price paid

Loved the location, size of outside, friendly, warm, rustic, dog friendly and plenty of parking. The food was amazing.

Food below average, literally felt like the just wanted you in and out. Food arrived too quickly from ordering which makes me think that a lot of it is pre-cooked on a Sunday. Shame as not the same level as other restaurants in the group.

They were very busy and so perhaps that’s why the service felt a little chaotic. One of the meals came several minutes after everyone else’s, the drinks order was taken but all the drinks arrived one at a time which seemed odd. The cauliflower cheese was only lukewarm. The white wine was warm. The coffee’s were lukewarm, not hot enough to dissolve the lumps of sugar…no teaspoons given with the coffee, we had to ask and then we got one, long handled spoon so share between 2 people having coffee. The roast dinners were ok, meat was good and nice, thick gravy but the carrots hadn’t been cleaned properly…if you are serving baby carrots whole, the ends need to be cleaned properly. The staff were pleasant and there wasn’t a long wait for food despite it being busy. The kids enjoyed the outdoor play area.

Had a lovely meal with a friend. The waiter, Henry, was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The food was lovely, and served quickly, but we weren't hassled during the meal. A lovely evening.
