The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. Whether you want to warm yourself in the sun outside in the summer with a glass of Pimms or enjoy a perfect pint of cask conditioned real ale in front of a real log fire in the winter, the Cricketers is the perfect place for a drink. If you are looking for a great venue for a family get together, a working lunch, special occasion or a light snack we’d love you to join us.

Had a really nice evening and it's a great looking place. Beautiful setting and the staff were very friendly. Only issues were slight delays on food and drink due to the staff being busy with non diners at the bar. The food albeit tasty felt over priced. We had 2 bar snacks, 2 garlic breads, 3 main m, 1 kids, 3 puddings and drinks. Very shocked to see the bill at £180.. not sure how families go out anymore. Again the staff were lovely.

My food was awful and had to send it back. Rice was like a rock. Service really bad. Staff were more interested in serving people sitting outside

The whole experience was disappointing. When we arrived it seemed they were not expecting us despite us booking and confirming the booking, saying ‘saying we’ll need to discuss where you are sitting’, we were then led to a side room with 2 tables which appeared to be the storage room for the giant TV. Service was ok. Food was disappointing, roast beef was not pink and was tough. Generally all just over cooked except the cabbage which was tough. Onion pure was odd and not nice with the roast but items were placed on top of it. Pigs in blankets whilst the portion size was good they were by burnt. The cauliflower cheese was a good portion but was overcooked. The desserts were not great. Strawberry cheese cake was not a great texture and the strawberry flavour seemed artificial. The crumble was way more crumble/nuts than fruit and the custard was awful. All in all very disappointing especially on Father’s Day and as we were a 12pm seating. Won’t be going again.

The manager was excellent and super attentive. Food took ages to come out (45 mins?) and wasn’t quite as good as normal.

Very enjoyable Bank Holiday Sunday lunch with family, including a 17-month old toddler in a highchair. The roast chicken was very tasty with some out of the ordinary veg and a lovely crisp Yorkshire pudding. Will definitely return!

Unable to comment. I had wanted to book a table the night before, but it was unavailable, so I booked the following evening, but found only two early bookings. Turned up to find that most of the menu had been deleted since they had been busy all weekend, and therefore, they had no food left on the menu to be able to serve. It was very disappointing. Before we turned up, a phone call should have been made to inform us that this was an issue. This was possible since the pub had my email and phone number upon booking. I understand it was a busy Bank Holiday weekend, but they should inform patrons if this is the case.
