   We booked this place because we wanted to see two of the musicians billed. Great confusion as to whether we could order, get seats upstairs [where the gig was] and eat up there - yes............but no, the event organisers couldn't let us up there, so no........... Still, the charcoal-grilled chicken was excellent - & I mean, superb; one of the best I'd ever had [even in countries where it's the national dish!]. Noisy pub, with occasionally brilliant but often awful music playing on shuffle. The gig was a mixed experience; a couple of singer-songwriters & a great rendition of "Blackleg Miner", followed by an ego-led performer so bad that we left, never seeing the two headliners we'd come for...........
