The Cricketers Inn is everything you would expect from a traditional country pub: cosy interiors, open fire, well-kept ales, local gins, a good selection of wine and a warm welcome from the team. You can choose to dine in the restaurant, the dog-friendly bar area, or outside in our large beer garden.

We are all about creating food that is full of flavour without the fuss. Hearty pub classics and daily specials that can be enjoyed in a relaxed environment with the whole family. We champion local producers and are
committed to sourcing quality, seasonal produce whenever possible.

    Excellent pub and the food was outstanding. Our table of 4 ordered 4 different mains and each one was so good. Will definitely be returning

    What an absolutely amazing roast dinner, massive portions which are clearly locally sourced, the plates came full of meat, stuffing, roast parsnips, a huge Yorkshire pudding and the most delicious roast potatoes and then the veg came separately and was cooked to perfection cabbage, carrot & swede mash, tenderstem broccoli and some cauliflower cheese, we ended up taking a footy bag home and couldn’t fit one of your lovely desserts although they looked delicious, staff very happy and helpful, amazing atmosphere and considering they were very busy everything run smoothly, we shall definitely be coming again, many thanks

    Our ‘go to’ place. Creative, well presented food with a changed menu every visit. The food is excellent, well presented and made skillfully. The service is prompt, efficient, and unobtrusive.

    This is a local and a regular location for us because the food is excellent the service is always great and the specials always cause me a dilemma when ordering! Good range on tap and always some kind of special spirit on the go. It was busy but service, quality and attention to detail is always high. Parking can sometimes be tight.

    Great venue. Clean and looks great. The food is always great and the back garden is really well looked after. However the thing that sets it apart is the staff. Attentive. Efficient. Friendly. Helpful. All the things you want but don’t always get. So if you want to come, the staff are the reason you’ll leave happy. Fabulous

    Lovely meal. The roast dinner was lovely. Very busy and service was a little slow but not a major problem, as it was very busy. Would return again soon
