The Crest Gastropub - Parsons
Need to book at 7:00 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
The food was delicious, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was perfect for a working lunch.
A little disappointed. Went there after looking at online menu, but when we got there discovered that the menu had changed but hadn’t been updated on website
Went there for Sunday brunch. We sat outside which was a bit noisier but that was our choice. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She collaborated well with the kitchen ensuring our special requests were met. Food was very good. Would recommend.
Had a wonderful little happy hour for 10 of us and were treated like royalty. If I could host every happy hour at the same location I would pick here. Easy for folks working downtown to get to and free on site parking is a rare treat.
Joda was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was very good especially the hush puppies appetizer.
Incredible menu, and our server really knew the menu and helped us make great selections
A wonderful first experience! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Our server was outstanding, the food was wonderful and our drinks were made to perfection! Will definitely be back.
Fish & chips were outstanding. A lot of veggie dishes too.
Four of us met here in July. Our server, Erica, was outstanding. She was friendly and efficient (and took several photos of us at our request since all of us had not seen each other for a long time). The food was very good -- one of us is vegan, so there were options, which was great. Another great thing is that we spent a LONG time there -- Erica just kept coming by to refill our water as we continued on getting caught up. We stayed so long that Erica left and the next shift came -- same great service. We never felt rushed to leave -- we were relaxed, having fun....and our water kept coming (and I even ordered a salad later!). We highly recommend The Crest Gastropub!
Good food. Uncomfortable seating
Excellent food and service. Cheese curd appetizer was delicious. All entrees including wedge salad w/ salmon, salmon burger, pastrami and veggie/vegan salad were excellent. Excellent service too.
Host seemed scattered even though the place was pretty empty. Took him about 10 minutes to finally bring us a booster seat. Service and food were good. Got a different brand of vodka than what I asked for according to bill.
First time here. Food was good, staff was great. I’d definitely go again.
Delicious! We were there on a Sunday, so you are tied to the brunch menu. If there are things on the regular menu you want to try, you need to go any other day. Still, the food was great! And all servers seemed to check in on us, so we were never without anything we needed!
Celebrated a friend on Friday night and we had a great time! Food, service and atmosphere were all great!
Second visit in two weeks. This might be my new favorite place. :)
Food was delicious! Close to downtown and parking is easy.
The service was excellent. Very attentive and fun and personal.
The food was bland on this occasion. Would’ve liked things salted a bit more, but I understand the “farm to table”, let the ingredients stand on their own etc.
The mushroom poutine appetizer was the best part. Highly recommend that.
Excellent food and service. Saturday brunch was really good. French toast, steak and eggs and breakfast sandwich were all excellent. Options for vegetarians and gluten-free diet too.
Had a great early evening out with the wife. Ordered a number of shareable plates and enjoyed everything we tried. We will be back
Was a little disappointed with the brunch selection.Came at 12p on a Saturday and was disappointed that brunch went until 3p. Maybe add a burger or some kind of red meat to the menu for those who don’t enjoy breakfast foods. Our server was VERY friendly, super sweet, and knew the menu well. However service was a little slow but the kindness he showed made up for the speed.
I love this place! It has the best staff in any Columbus restaurant, in my opinion.
Reservations were made for my daughter and her friends for prom. The Crest provided amazing service and delicious food. The 4 of them had such a great time before they headed off to prom. Thanks again for such an outstanding event
Hamburger had some bone chips in it
Very good food. Excellency burger, good soup, tasty pastrami sandwich. Service was fast - a bit too fast for our taste, trying to relax on a Saturday night, but probably in keeping with pub grub.
We loved our visit to The Crest. Lots of great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, excellent service and a nice quiet and inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!
Bar service took awhile to get going despite few patrons. Ordered shrimp & grits. Shrimp was temperature hot and seasoned well, but the grits & lamb ragout were lukewarm. Side salad sat in view for a good 10-15 minutes and was delivered with food, which seemed to be due to lack of paying attention rather than intentionally serving the meal together. Everyone was bustling about and walking by the salad as it sat there, and again, neither the bar or restaurant were busy.
Everything was fine. Over all it was an enjoyable place for a lunch. They accommodated three moms with little children and the restaurant wasn’t terribly busy which was nice for us. I enjoyed my soup, broccoli cheese, and the chicken sandwich was good. Nothing was amazing. The other two got the burger. The buns on all three sandwiches fell apart and was quite messy. Service was attentive and helpful. But over all I felt like everything was just that, fine.
The food was very unique in flavor combinations. Everyone was impressed with the dishes we ate. Nice size dishes. The menu has premium level dish composition at an accessible price. The decor was pleasant. Staff was personable and professional from host to server. Overall, a quality dining experience.
Started with the spicy hot wings. 8 deep-fried and crispy, drumsticks sauced and served w/ a blue cheese sauce. Very tasty! Had turkey sandwich w/ bacon and added fried egg. Huge sandwich, came with a large bowl of mixed veggies. Great service, can’t wait to come back.
Waited for 45 minutes for drinks which we ordered twice but never came. Water was the only thing we were served. Poor service. Reached out via facebook email to let them know if our experience but no response.....
Great atmosphere and drinks. Food is hit or miss. I've had some great stuff here, and some not-so-great. Service is also on/off. But we usually have an overall ok experience here.
Took awhile to get seated but once we were there our waitress was incredible! So sweet and genuine making sure we had everything we needed. Loved the decor and lighting would definitely go back again.
We did not have a server and were not greeted after over 45 minutes at our table. We had to leave
First time there and it was a very positive experience. I had the Swiss Burger w/bacon and my wife had the Turkey Melt. Both entrees were DELICIOUS!! Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. We are looking forward to returning for another meal soon!
We were visiting from out of town for a conference, and a friend (who is a local) suggested The Crest. The burgers were AMAZING and the service was personable and quick!
Everything was great I just didn’t care for what I ordered I got the falafel and it just wasn’t what I was used to. Everyone else loved their food!
Our first trip to this venue. My beet salad was excellent and my buddy’s burger was, according to him, wonderful. The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly and very attentive without being over-the-top about it.
The atmosphere was good — it’s a fairly new place and it shows well. Tables were spaced far enough apart so that we didn’t feel anyone could hear us without trying and vice-versa.
My pal and I each decided we would return to The Crest.
