The Crest Gastropub - Parsons
Great food. Sadly they had run out of their cinnamon rolls. Also should serve tea in small pot; help keep the water hot longer.
Overall our visit was good. Everyone in our party was surprised and a bit disappointed that your menu had changed.
Several of us were looking forward to your sweet potato fries, which you no longer offer. I tried the regular "hand-cut" fries and was very disappointed.
A few others were wanting to order the falafels because the are vegan, but those are no longer offered either.
Our waitress was awesome!
We used to love the inventive and well prepared food. Totally disappointed this last time. It was a struggle to find something we wanted to try. The charcuterie app platter was disappointing. It was sparse and the olive oil dumped over the meat completely masked the delicate flavors. Mustard was wonderful on it. The chicken in my salad was so overcooked that it was difficult to cut it. My son’s hamburger was likewise over done. My husband did score with the beef baracoa, I only wish that I enjoyed those spiced flavors so that I could have ordered it after getting my meal. Service was pleasant , attentive and professional.
Had the salmon burger and my date got the Veggie burger. Both were very good. The Ebb + Flow cocktail is amazing! It was a busy night, so I can’t knock the service too much. The timing of some things was a little off. One app then 20 min later another app, then 3 min later our entrees, but everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend
Decent bourbon selection
The only reason The Crest has received only four starts is: THE LACK OF SWEET POTATO FRIES.
Your WERE the best ever!
Great food and location!
Service was extremely slow. We had three different servers. The food was not hot and had no taste. First time coming and my last.
The food was good, but they were short staffed and our waiter left us without water and drinks for almost an hour.
Great food. Great environment. Service was pretty good.
Friends visiting from out of town.
Food was raw when I asked for it to be well done. Waitress kept messed up the salad order twice so I had to switched to a burger.
Beer was served in a bottle without a cold glass, actually with no glass...she just lacked tons of basic serving skills.
I will not return, overall it was not good.
We went to Crest for Brunch and everything was incredible! Service was excellent. Wasn’t busy which was great.
Comfortable and inviting atmosphere with delicious and reasonably-priced food and drinks. I loved the vibe of the space and service was top-notch. Highly recommend the Fried Brussels as an appetizer!
Food was fine, but the service was horrible. I arrived a few minutes before my friends and was seated at a table that was partially hidden by a decorative chain curtain. Our server completely forgot we existed. When my friends arrived, she told them that they didn’t have a table with anyone waiting. It was her freaking table! I had to ask others to find her to take drink orders and to get the check. I’m very disappointed, given how much I love the Crest in C’ville.
The food was delicious, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was perfect for a working lunch.
A little disappointed. Went there after looking at online menu, but when we got there discovered that the menu had changed but hadn’t been updated on website
Went there for Sunday brunch. We sat outside which was a bit noisier but that was our choice. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She collaborated well with the kitchen ensuring our special requests were met. Food was very good. Would recommend.
Had a wonderful little happy hour for 10 of us and were treated like royalty. If I could host every happy hour at the same location I would pick here. Easy for folks working downtown to get to and free on site parking is a rare treat.
Joda was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was very good especially the hush puppies appetizer.
Incredible menu, and our server really knew the menu and helped us make great selections
A wonderful first experience! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Our server was outstanding, the food was wonderful and our drinks were made to perfection! Will definitely be back.
Fish & chips were outstanding. A lot of veggie dishes too.
Four of us met here in July. Our server, Erica, was outstanding. She was friendly and efficient (and took several photos of us at our request since all of us had not seen each other for a long time). The food was very good -- one of us is vegan, so there were options, which was great. Another great thing is that we spent a LONG time there -- Erica just kept coming by to refill our water as we continued on getting caught up. We stayed so long that Erica left and the next shift came -- same great service. We never felt rushed to leave -- we were relaxed, having fun....and our water kept coming (and I even ordered a salad later!). We highly recommend The Crest Gastropub!
Good food. Uncomfortable seating
Excellent food and service. Cheese curd appetizer was delicious. All entrees including wedge salad w/ salmon, salmon burger, pastrami and veggie/vegan salad were excellent. Excellent service too.
Host seemed scattered even though the place was pretty empty. Took him about 10 minutes to finally bring us a booster seat. Service and food were good. Got a different brand of vodka than what I asked for according to bill.
First time here. Food was good, staff was great. I’d definitely go again.
Delicious! We were there on a Sunday, so you are tied to the brunch menu. If there are things on the regular menu you want to try, you need to go any other day. Still, the food was great! And all servers seemed to check in on us, so we were never without anything we needed!
Celebrated a friend on Friday night and we had a great time! Food, service and atmosphere were all great!
Second visit in two weeks. This might be my new favorite place. :)
Food was delicious! Close to downtown and parking is easy.
The service was excellent. Very attentive and fun and personal.
The food was bland on this occasion. Would’ve liked things salted a bit more, but I understand the “farm to table”, let the ingredients stand on their own etc.
The mushroom poutine appetizer was the best part. Highly recommend that.
Excellent food and service. Saturday brunch was really good. French toast, steak and eggs and breakfast sandwich were all excellent. Options for vegetarians and gluten-free diet too.
Had a great early evening out with the wife. Ordered a number of shareable plates and enjoyed everything we tried. We will be back
Was a little disappointed with the brunch selection.Came at 12p on a Saturday and was disappointed that brunch went until 3p. Maybe add a burger or some kind of red meat to the menu for those who don’t enjoy breakfast foods. Our server was VERY friendly, super sweet, and knew the menu well. However service was a little slow but the kindness he showed made up for the speed.
I love this place! It has the best staff in any Columbus restaurant, in my opinion.
Reservations were made for my daughter and her friends for prom. The Crest provided amazing service and delicious food. The 4 of them had such a great time before they headed off to prom. Thanks again for such an outstanding event
Hamburger had some bone chips in it
