We grow as much food as possible in our carefully-designed raised beds and rooftop gardens. Food that is picked to eat tastes so much better than food that is picked to ship, so we take our ability to grow very seriously. The Crest Garden allows us to create a dish that is delicious, nutritionally dense, and environmentally thoughtful.
What we can’t grow in our garden, we try to source from our strong Ohio farmer network. The love our local farmers and growers pour into their products is the highlight of our dishes.

Great brunch and cocktails, warm staff and gorgeous atmosphere.
It was a marvelous meal. Nate was a most charming knowledgeable and generous host/server/bartender.
The food was delicious, much of it locally sourced, all of it creatively and expertly prepared- healthy and delicious, with generous servings. Stars of the show were the sunflower gnocchi with pesto, the vegan poutine with mushroom gravy, and the Creat burger!
FABULOUS meal, a true Columbus gem.
Great service and experience!
Trout was wonderful and the waitress recommended a great red wine
From the fantastic food and drinks, wonderful patio atmosphere, lovely and helpful server (Kylar), to the safety protocols that made us feel safe, we had a very enjoyable first dining experience at The Crest. We’ll definitely be back!
We had the Marg Dog cocktail, the caprese, goat cheese balls, the gnocchi, and poutine. The drinks were literally some of the best cocktails I have ever had - not too sweet, perfect balance of ingredients. The tomatoes in the caprese were perfect. I found the sauce if the gnocchi overpowering. But the goat cheese was delicious and the vegan poutine was the best rendition of poutine I have encountered. Everything is fresh, simple, and delicious. Careful where you park. It's a $50 ticket! And like every restaurant in Columbus in summer, it's freezing inside, so bundle up!
Food was average and service subpar
Great little corner spot for brunch with nice outdoor seating. Food is reasonably priced and arrives quickly. Our group enjoyed the unique mimosas made with sparkling chardonnay! Hope to visit again soon.
Went for brunch. Great food, good price and service. Look forward to trying the lunch/dinner menu
Brunch dishes were not as good as we hoped they would be.
This is the second time I’ve been to The Crest, both times for brunch. Both times the food was sub par. The second time my friend got the traditional breakfast with sausage, and the sausage was more like a bratwurst than breakfast sausage. My other friend got the corned beef hash and his potatoes were barely cooked, while the rest of ours were nice and crispy. We also got a cinnamon roll, and there was no icing or anything. The “caramel” is baked into the roll - that prob should have been mentioned on the menu. The second time we sat for 15 minutes before anyone came to give us water and take our order. The only saving grace was our server. After the initial wait she apologized profusely and was very attentive and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable about the drinks and menu. I’d go back for cocktails and possibly try the dinner menu but def wouldn’t go back for brunch.
Really nice place in Clintonville, OH. Homey atmosphere with craft cocktails and unique menu items. Found the prices to be high for the F&B to just be OK. I will go back for happy hour and give it one more shot!
Going to The Crest is always a delicious, fun, healthy experience!!!
Absolutely wonderful ambiance. Sat outside on patio. We tried the $5 veggie smash burger Thursday deal, and wow an incredible value also given the quality of the food. Tip: get the extra $2 veggie patty added. Would come here again and again and again
Great service and happy hour specials! Went for the new $5 veggie burger night and it was amazing!
The place has a nice neighborhood feel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the salads, sharing all three. The entrees, burger was great, risotto was good, and the rueben was delicious.
All of the staff are super friendly and attentive! Food was outstanding and service was impeccable. Highly recommend!!
Food for brunch was excellent and our server Rachael did a great job!
Food was excellent - so fresh! Wonderful and attentive service! Patio is beautiful!
Reuben was pretty ordinary for $17. Great service and ambience, but I’m afraid the food is a step down from the previous ownership. Pretty big bummer because this place used to be fantastic.
Food was amazing - so fresh and beautiful presentation! Service excellent!
Brunch at the Crest is always a treat when we visit our son in C-bus.
We had a lovely experience here. Service was great, food and drinks were excellent, atmosphere comfortable. We picked the outside table, our waitress was very accommodating with my food questions because I am sensitive to a few things she asked Chef for recommendations. The gin martini was Devine!
Fabulous Saturday brunch with an amazing Eggs Benedict - get it over the walleye cake. Hollandaise was delicious, eggs were perfect. The most fun was the mimosa flight - what a great idea! We got there a little early and spent time checking out the beautiful raised bed gardens - just a wonderful setting. I usually go to the Crest on Parsons but I think Indianola is my new fave. In fact, we are going back for their Gardens 2 Glass event on August 8th. I love their sensibility and their vibe. And the FOOD!
Great variety of items. Goat cheese balls were a hit. Fish & Chips was a great plate of food.
We sat outside on a weekday evening and enjoyed a relaxed date night dinner. The cocktails were outstanding. The waiter helpful and knowledgeable. The food was fresh and yummy. We loved trying some new things. After dinner we “toured” the gardens. Recommend!
The food was not great. I got the duck fingers. It came with deep fried onions which were inedible. In fact all the breading had an odd taste. Perhaps they were dipping everything in the same batter and frying everything in the same oil.
Interesting, delicious food. Lots of veggie options.
Interesting food, all very good. Great Happy Hour deals.
The Menu is quite small with a heavy lean towards sweet dishes or sauces. Do not go here if you are on a Paleo diet. The waitress was very accommodating and the drinks were good. For a casual meal, it was fine. The new decor is a bit of a hodge-podge; I miss the copper top bar!
Fantastic food at a reasonable price in a great setting. This was my first visit to The Crest but it won't be my last.
The food was uniquely and wonderfully tasty. The service - top notch!
Delicious food, excellent service!
We ate out in the evening in the patio and were really impressed with the menu and food, and the ambiance was perfect and the server professional and attentive.
Service was great. Appetizer board was delicious as was the risotto. Fish and chips were good although fries weren’t crisp and tartar sauce had a bitterness that made it inedible
The food was awesome, which we expected since we’ve been here before. The service was great, also no surprise. We selected this restaurant because we like it, and we were not disappointed!
Great food and service!
our server was great and the manager, Tyler, was so nice as well!!
The food was fabulous and the drinks so refreshing out in the patio. I love that the patio is completely covered with an awning to protect patrons from the blazing sun. It was a scorcher today but lovely to still be able to eat outside in the shade. I also loved seeing people with their dogs. That adds such a friendly and laid back vibe.
The mimosa flights were great but that's about it. Our table got Falafel and waffles, falafel and waffles with BBQ duck, and eggs and pepper sandwich. It's exciting to see more experimental mixes, but the only thing that tasted okay was the eggs and peppers. The BBQ sauce on the duck was sweet and overpowering and the meat was dry and tough. +4 dollars for 1/4 cup of this was disappointing. The greens on the waffles were difficult to chew and very bitter. I write this all more to remind myself to avoid these dishes, not to bash the place. The service was good, and I will likely return to try something different.
