We waited 20 minutes to be greeted by our waitress. Then much linger for our food. We noticed that two groups that came in after our group (that had a reservation) git their food 30 minutes before us.

Sorry for the experience other people had just a few night’s before, but our experience was outstanding. Great food, great service. Some of the food wasn’t to the taste of some in our party, but most loved what they ordered. Fun location with lots to do before and after the reservation. Parking is awful so plan to be in the area 15 minutes before your reservation

Such a disappointment. The outdoor atmosphere was nice as well as the band and scenery, however the restaurant is terribly managed and service was terrible. This restaurant was only taking reservations and not allowing people to walk up to get a table. So it should have be properly staffed, it clearly wasn’t. We waited 45 mins for waters and beers to arrive. We should have gotten up and left. But we were enjoying the band and good company. Our waitress was the only waitress serving all of the outdoor tables. Food took forever and waitress didn’t come back and check for more drinks or refills. Missing simple items like crab utensils and butter, straws, and silverware. One person in our party even had to walk up to the bar in order to order a drink. When we spoke with the manager, Mrs Brandy. She was such a disappointment. She could have cared less, was rude and clearly didn’t want to hear it. The restaurant wasn’t busy at this time. We now were the only table full outside and about 5 tables inside the restaurant were full. This restaurant suffered from extremely poor management, issues in the kitchen, and under staffed. My husband walked into the kitchen twice in order to find Mrs Brady. Each time the kitchen employees were working extremely fast. I am willing to bet they are focusing all their efforts on take out instead of people that are present. Mrs Brandy didn’t want to apologize let alone make it right on anyone bill. She was only willing to screw over the waitress and cancel the mandatory gratuity. Which honestly, wasn’t 100% the waitresses fault. She had some short comings but can not control the crappy kitchen and poor manager who sets the tone for the restaurant. We rented an AirBNB at this resort in SanDestin. At our condo, the owners have a huge book of favorite restaurants. We will stick to restaurants that they have listed as their favorites. Which as we look back....Crazy lobster isn’t anywhere on their long list.

Waited over an hour for a drink- 2 hours for any food. Unable to find any staff, waitress blamed bad service on the take out order that was priority to in-house guests. Need to work on customer service!!

We decided on this place because of the sunset views. Our reservations were for 7 and 7:15. The hostess was overwhelmed. They sat us 20 or 30 minutes later. There was no view of anything. The place seemed to be poorly run and under-staffed. Some food was served cold (fried shrimp). That can’t happen in a well-run establishment. We asked for a wine list and the first page was covered in mold. Gross! The food was ($26 for overcooked red snapper for me) mediocre. The waitress was nice, and did everything she could to make it a positive experience, but everything else seemed mismanaged. I would not eat here again.

This is a very boisterous restaurant in the middle of a very "touristy" area. The food was ok, not spectacular, but a couple of people in my party had issues with food temperature. To be fair, it was a busy Saturday night. I would go back here, but there is a lot of competition in this space in Destin.

Almost none of the staff were wearing masks. The tables were too close together. I understand that going out is a choice but the establishment should at least make an attempt to follow some sort of health protocols.

The hostess could not have been more accommodating. She was so lovely and kind to my stepdaughter and our family with 2 young children. The server was very nice. They appeared to be short staffed and did their best under tough circumstances.

While at the beach on vacation I made a reservation here to celebrate my daughters birthday. There were 8 of us and we were seated promptly. The service couldn’t have been better, but the food. It definitely wasn’t a $350 meal. I had the blackened lobster, which according to the menus is served over jambalaya, but mine came over roasted potatoes. My son-in-law had the mahi-mahi, and it had a strong fishy taste. Then we had chocolate lava cake, it came dried up and the hadn’t put the raspberry compote on it, and they don’t have ice cream. Dissatisfied and disappointed

The drinks were excellent!! The food was ok. They had no oysters at 11:30am, yet other tables were served oysters after us. The food was decent. The server was inattentive but it was okay. The drinks will get you where you need to be for sure! They get an A+ for that!!

To access this restaurant, you have to park in a lot and take a very busy tram to get there. This should absolutely be mentioned on the listing as we had to cancel since we would have been very late for our reservation. We called the restaurant who then informed us that they had overbooked and we could expect a long wait anyway. Obviously, cannot speak about the food, but came across as terribly disorganized.

Limited food options. Asked to sit outside, they said it was all booked, and none of 6 tables got a single person our entire time there. We ordered 3 ears of corn, which we confirmed were not spicy, got 6, all spicy, and they still charged us $12. Overall food (besides corn experience) was tasty, limited menu though, not happy with customer service.

This was by far the best meal during our trip! We had a party of 6 and everybody’s food was delicious! Great drinks, great food, and great service! Since we had a party of 6 gratuity was included (which is completely fine), and our waitress made sure to tell us and make sure we were aware it was included when she brought our checks (which rarely ever happens).

The food was lackluster for the price. I do believe that you can get better quality at other seafood restaurants along the Gulf Coast. We had the Firecracker shrimp. Bonefish beats theirs hands down. We split the wedge salad and Mahi with grits and arugula salad. The plate was large but over half was the salad.

Lovely shopping area, but the service at this particular restaurant was spotty--"I'll be back in 1 minute," really meaning 20 minutes. And the chicken pasta was sticky and dry, the chicken over fried.

We live in the area and understand how touristy some restaurant - especially in tourist areas like Baytown Wharf. But there's also some expectation of quality, and The Crazy Lobster barely met that. I know that it's off-season, but come on guys, at least try...!

We had reservations for outdoor dining, but the weather was unexpectedly cold and the restaurant didn't have outdoor heaters, so we ask for a table indoors. (Come on guys, patio seating next to the bay, and you don't have outdoor heaters...?) In an almost empty restaurant, we were seated at a small table next to the empty lobster tank. (Again, come on guys, an empty lobster tank in a lobster restaurant...? If this is a PETA thing, get rid of the tank or use it as decoration, not an eyesore.)

The service met the minimum requirements which isn't saying much for an almost empty restaurant. And the food was bland and tasteless. We were disappointed by the overall experience.

This was the worst meal I have had in a long time. The lobster bisque was thin and greasy with several chunks of fish that was not lobster meat In it. The bread was stale and they did not have butter to serve with it other than melted butter or so my waiter said. I ordered the coconut shrimp dinner - the shrimp were dry and the pepper jelly that was served with it was flavorful it came in one lump and you could not dip the shrimp into it. I literally had to take the knife and spread it on the shrimp to get any in them at all. The corn on the cob had obviously been overbooked and then reheated to serve. I was the only person I. The restaurant on a Sunday evening and my waiter brought my food but was otherwise inattentive. The only bright spot in the meal was the piano player on the patio. But I will not done here again and recommend you don’t either.

The outdoor seating faces a bar with live music, bad live music at that. We learned why most lobster dishes are blackened. When it wasn’t, it was tasteless. The medallions were over cooked and the ice tea is from a fountain, not brewed. Not worth the time or money

Kevar was amazing. Food wasn’t . Won’t go there again. Silverware had dried up food on it as well. Only good thing was kevars customer service and the manager was willing to replace the meal but after the meal wasn’t right I didn’t want anything else from there

We made a reservation in our Open Table App for 7:30pm. When we got there no one was at the counter.. A guy that worked in kitchen tried to seat us.. a lady that was working at the bar said we are closed! The guy looked at her and then looked at us and said sorry.. we drove out of our way to go there.. Horrible service!!
