   First time in this place and we will be back The food was superb We were under a speaker that had music on It was not unpleasant but a slight distraction when trying to chat Service was good but did not get asked when food came out if we required another drink which would have been nice Overall I have already recommended you to Worthing Foodie Page on Facebook Only minor points and it did not distract from a lovely meal 👍

   Great pub, dog friendly, good food, love that they have a small option on the roast dinners.

   Decent enough standard of food and service was good. Not overly expensive but no kids menu. That was my only disappointment but I suppose I should of checked.

   Ordered food, took 1h15 to be served, pub was dead. Waiter just forgot our order.

   This was our second visit to the Crate and Apple. Once again the meal was fantastic, without a question one of the best places to have a meal with family and friends. We had the pleasure of having Chloe as our server. Chloe is very professional while at the same time very friendly providing suggestions for our meal selections. Very knowledgeable on the local activities in Chichester and area, a great ambassador for Chichester tourism. Highly recommend the Crate and Apple for a great meal and welcome atmosphere!

   The menu was wide ranging and and in my particular case had good Gluten Free options. 8 out of the 10 main courses were GF which is exceptional these days. Quality of the food was first class I would highly recommend to anyone.

   We celebrated our engagement here and they very kindly gave us a bottle of cava on the house, very appreciated! Food was good, service was sadly a bit slow as they seemed very busy. Would return!
