Welcome to The Crafty Fox, a hidden den slightly off the beaten track.
You will find us tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of Wexford Street on 37-38 Camden Row, Dublin 8. Meander your way to our back to basics bar and enjoy something not so basic from our carefully created menu. You’ll find cool, creamy pints to natter over in one of our comfortable open snugs. A menu of curious cocktails with a nod to the flavours of Ireland, which are also perfectly balanced and we also have a selection of crafty beers and ciders to whet the palate while you wind down after a long day.
If it’s a bite to eat you’re after we have a small selection of noodle boxes available courtesy of our friends next door in Opium. Enjoy tasty Thai and Vietnamese cuisine while watching a bit of sport on the TV or catching up with your pals.

Food is good but because it's in a box, it's hard to get at and mix around. Wooden fork a bit off-putting. Service very good and pleasant.

This is not a restaurant so not sure it fits on opentable to book. It's a bar that you can order take away food from the restaurant next door. It arrives in take away boxes, wooden cutlery and no plate. It wasn't what we were expecting but maybe it ticks the box for other people. Despite this the food was really tasty and very reasonably priced. Cocktail was good..... a menu of them would have been helpful.

Hi Alfie, Thanks for the visit and the feedback. All fair points, the Open Table booking system is something that became necessary during the past two years when all spaces had to trace customer contact info. We are hopefully about to launch a new cocktail menu in the coming weeks, and of course we note your comments about the food too. We are about to change that offering as well. Hopefully, if you come back in the future you will be pleased by these modifications.

Service was very poor unfortunately. Little engagement from staff and the venue was very cold. Food was tasty but comes in a cardboard box and wooden cutlery.

Hi Rocky. Thanks for your feedback, even if it is obviously disappointing for us to read. We are looking at bringing in a new food menu for the Crafty Fox in the coming weeks which will hopefully be more to your liking. To date the focus has been on drinks but of course we need to look at all areas for ways to improve. your feedback will be discussed among the management team so thanks for taking the time to send it in.

Excellent food and good craft beer selection. My only complaint is that two unisex toilets is not enough for a bar that size.
