   OK it was a Bank Holiday! but no food came after 1.15hr, they forgot drinks for our anniversary, and apologised! not impressed!

   The night we went was a bit quiet; but that did mean that we were served very efficiently and promptly. we enjoyed our visit.

   Very disappointed. Such a great location and destination. Frankly I don't think they care about customers. Booked table for 2 oclock. Arrived early and was told 1 hour wait for food. How difficult is a Sunday roast? They were not even half full (including garden). Not enough staff clearly. I waited 20 minutes at bar to be served a drink. Food was disappointing on arrival. Tough roast beef. Its not enough to hope the location overshadows poor service and quality. I won't be back.

   Good Sunday lunch here with friends. Would go again as a great start/end for some great local walls.

   Very disappointing experience at Coy Carp this time. Food was very blant. We used to dine here quite often a few years ago. Since that time this place has definitely lost its charm.

   We went on Thursday of last week for lunch and we were very cold even though we were seated downstairs. We sat near the windows overlooking the canal and grew more and more cold as the meal continued. This is a shame as the ambiance, service and food were very good.

   After finding out that our booking hadn't been put on the list of diners, and they were fully booked. A nice chap said he would give us a table at the bar, and we would still be able to order the Sunday lunch, otherwise we would have to find somewhere else to eat. I would not use Open Table again, in case the same thing happened. Very disappointed

   It really has turned around since our last visit of over a year ......... staff were fantastic very friendly very helpful with my grandson - can't praise them enough and the food was excellent - will make it a regular - very happy thank you 5 *

    We had a table booked at 2pm for Sunday lunch today, arrived on time, waited 20 mins to get a menu then ordered at 2.30pm ...our food for 4 people (3 Sunday roasts and 1 fish & chips) didn't arrive to our table until 4.40pm that's 2 hours and 10 minute wait for 4 meals absolutely shocking and the most disappointing excuses and we had already paid at the bar so couldn't even cancel our food!
