   I did not try the food because when we were seated they had only 3 items available and it was only 7 on a Saturday. There was no crab which is the base of most of their entrees and appetizers. There was no steak or scallops or main Italian ingredients for another dish. We were so discouraged and really were not interested in the remaining dishes so we left. We had heard great reviews of The Cow and the Fish so were very disappointed.

   The food was exceptional and the service great. Highly recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp and Crab balls appetizers. Their crab cakes are all lump meat and filet cooked to perfection. Would recommend for that special event, celebration or just for a enjoyable night out...

   The food was phenomenal and the staff was friendly. The owner took the time to chat with us. It was a bit chilly in there but all in all, a great meal!

   A few of our friends had eaten at The Cow and The Fish. We were celebrating our anniversary, and decided to go there. We were not disappointed at all. We both chose the Angus steak and I had mine blackened. Both steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered and oh so delicious and flavorful. The skewered shrimp and scallops that came with the steak were also very good. Presentation was thoughtful and professional. We both got two sides and the price was in the expected entre range of $29 and $31 respectively. We will definitely go back!

   In simply reading the menu, it did not seem like much. The food presentation way out did the menu description of the food. The food was beautifully presented, good portion sizes and was delicious. Service was excellent. Lacks atmosphere but it wasnt bad.

   The whole meal was great..but the crab cakes are amazing, stuffed with lump carb meat and little filling. The service was great too. They are so nice and welcoming.

    Normally we are very critical of local restaurants in Southern Maryland. But THIS restaurant raises the bar. Absolutely outstanding meals. The crabcakes were the absolute best!
