   I booked "The Cove" last minute for a birthday dinner. We parked and a golf cart took us out to the waterfront restaurant. I was greeted with, "Happy birthday," and a table in a cozy spot as per my request. In short, we enjoyed our dinner. The staff were attentive to details, kind and courteous!

   I had the pleasure of dining at the Cove restaurant for Valentine’s Day, and while the evening had a few hiccups, the food more than made up for it. The miso-glazed salmon was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. The lobster fennel bisque had just the right temperature and consistency, rich and creamy without being overwhelming. And to finish, the dessert was simply delectable, a perfect sweet ending to the meal. That said, the service was a bit slow, which I chalked up to the restaurant being full for the evening. There were noticeable gaps between courses, making the meal feel slightly disjointed. Additionally, my second drink order was forgotten, which was a small but disappointing oversight. Overall, the quality of the food was outstanding, and while the service had room for improvement, I would still recommend the Cove for a special night out. 4 stars for both food and service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

   A wannabe star chef trying to provide top cuisine but instead revealing odd and/or unsuitable dishes which people accept because it’s largely a captive audience who dines there. Totally unconvincing result, yet expensive and with undersized portions.
